Sydney Sweeney is welcoming a new furry friend into her family!
On Monday, April 21, the Euphoria actress, 27, revealed that she brought home a new puppy named Sully just two weeks ago.
“introducing sully bear ❤️,” she captioned the post, which features tons of photos and videos of the puppy, who appeared to be a German Shepherd.
In one photo, the actress could be seen kissing her new pup as she sported a baseball hat inside a bar. Another snapshot showed Sweeney carrying the dog around inside her purse.
“So far in our two weeks together he’s become my set best friend, my bowling partner, my nap buddy, mutual water enthusiast, and travel companion,” she finished the heartfelt caption.
Other snaps in the post showed Sweeney cuddled up in a chair with her puppy, and another photo showed a customized silver charm bracelet that read “Sully Bear” with heart and paw print charms accompanying the text.
Tons of celebs and brands showed off their excitement about Sweeney’s new addition to the family. Paris Hilton left a simple: “😍” emoji underneath the post, and Laneige US, which Sweeney has partnered with in the past, commented: “So cute 😍.”
Fans also shared their thoughts about just how cute the puppy is.
“Sully in the bag is adorable. Lil bro won’t be that small for long so do it while you can😭,” one commenter wrote.
Sydney is also a dog mom to a pitbull-mix named Tank, who has been with the star since she was 17, when Tank was just a 2-week-old puppy. Tank was even featured in last year’s special Vogue edition called Dogue, where Sweeney opened up about adopting the sweet girl while she was extremely sick and nursed her back to health.
“Because she was so young, I brought her to school—it was during the time where my mom was, like, ‘You’re going to have to learn to take responsibility for your actions,’ ” Sweeney said. “She became kind of like the class pet and would walk around in different classrooms.”
Speaking to PEOPLE last year, she opened up about how her pitbull plays a big role in her mental health.
“My dog, Tank, really is so important in my own self-care process,” Sweeney told PEOPLE. “Whether it is just playing with her, taking her to the dog park or taking her on a walk, it just lets me take a moment and unplug from everything else.”

Sully is sure to become fast friends with one of Sweeney’s close friends and Anyone but You costar Glen Powell — as well as his famous dog, Brisket. The tiny pup has been spotted meeting tons of celebs, including Demi Moore and her tiny dog, Pilaf, Powell’s Twister costar Daisy Edgar-Jones and more.
Powell adopted Brisket from the Labelle Foundation in July 2023, playfully saying he needed extra security. “It’s a ruff world out there, so I thought it was about time I hire a proper bodyguard,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
