Taylor Ann Green Leaving ‘Southern Charm’ After 5 Years: ‘A Wild Roller-Coaster’

Taylor Ann Green is ready for her next chapter away from reality TV.

“A bittersweet announcement; but after a lot of conversations and thought this past year, it is with a heavy but peaceful heart to announce that I will be stepping away from Southern Charm next year,” Taylor, 30, wrote via Instagram on Monday, April 14. “These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life. I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, Bravo family and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today.”

While appearing on nearly four seasons of the Bravo show, Taylor documented her breakup with Shep Rose before finding a second chance at love with Gaston Rojas.

During the season 10 reunion show, which concluded airing earlier this month, Taylor tried to stay out of the drama — minus a feud with costar Salley Carson.

The Southern Charm stars can’t get enough of each other — and that’s created a dizzying web of relationships, break ups and drama. Beginning with season 1, which premiered in 2014, OG stars Craig Conover, Shep Rose and Kathryn Dennis let fans see the good, the bad and the messy parts of their romantic relationships. […]

“A wild roller-coaster but an incredible one to say the least,” Taylor shared in her announcement. “I am so excited to use this time to focus on my new company, @resetathletic and all the exciting things that my business partner and I have been working on to continue to bring our dream into reality🙌🏼.”

After sharing her news on social media, Taylor received support from some of her friends on Southern Hospitality.

“Proud of you 💙💙💙,” Bradley Carter wrote in the comments section. TJ Dinch added, “🫶🏻 you! Now let’s have a fun summer 🤪.”

Taylor isn’t the first cast member to announce her departure ahead of season 11. After more than 10 years on the show, Leva Bonaparte announced she’s leaving Southern Charm — but will remain on Southern Hospitality.

“I am in a place now in my life where I want to have time to focus on Boys and my Joys,” she wrote via Instagram on March 26. “And need some time for a life reset on what is aligned for me!”

While Bravo has yet to announce plans for season 11, Craig Conover, Austen Kroll and Madison LeCroy are some of the cast members expected to return for another season.

Until then, Taylor is grateful for all of the fans who showed support when she shared the good and bad of her life with Bravo cameras.

“Thank you again to everyone who has loved and supported me throughout this journey and another grand cheers to the greatest ones out there @nbc @bravotv @haymaker.east & @bravoandy for an exceptional reality TV ride✨,” she wrote. “All my love🤍.”
