Taylor Swift References ‘Boyfriend’ Travis Kelce’s Football Training During Children’s Hospital Visit

Taylor Swift gave a nod to Travis Kelce during her recent children’s hospital visit, revealing he’s the not-so-invisible string that is keeping her in Florida.

“My boyfriend is training here, so I just thought I’d come and see how you’re doing,” Swift, 35, told one of the kids on Friday, June 13, in a video shared via X when asked why she was visiting patients at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. (Kelce, 35, has been training for the upcoming 2025-2026 NFL season nearby.)

Swift, who wore a green belted maxi dress for the occasion, teased, “[I thought I’d] just drop in on you, you know what I mean.”

Swift made headlines on Friday when videos and photos started to surface of the Grammy winner spending time with several kids at the local hospital. She also hung out with family members and hospital staff, according to social media.

In one video posted via X, Swift giggled as she greeted one of the teenagers in his room. “Nice to meet you. I like your hair,” Swift said in the clip. “That’s so cool!”

The “Fortnight” singer also made time to speak with the hospital’s Chief of Surgery, Dr. Jill S. Whitehouse. “Chief of Surgery meets Chief of the World! Undeniably one of the kindest human beings I have ever had the privilege of meeting,” Dr. Whitehouse captioned a photo with Swift via Instagram. “Thank you #taylorswift for making dreams come true for all of our patients, families, and staff today!”

Swift and Kelce have been dating since 2023. Throughout the majority of their relationship, Swift has been going nonstop thanks to her Eras Tour, which came to an end in December 2024.

The musician then shifted her focus to cheering on Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 2025 in February, though they ultimately lost to the Philadelphia Eagles. Soon after, the couple quietly slipped into the NFL off season together, with Swift splitting her time between Florida and New York.

“Florida has been the perfect escape for them,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly on June 4, noting that Kelce recently rented a $20 million mansion in Boca Raton, where he and Swift spend time when she’s in town.

A second insider said, “Taylor has been coming and going to Florida and is still spending a lot of her time in NYC,” where she owns a $50 million townhouse.

The couple are aware that once the football season begins in August, their schedules will become more complicated. In the meantime, Swift is “trying to spend as much time” with Kelce in Florida as possible, according to a third source.

“They are doing stuff separately out of necessity because of his training, but when they find time to connect, it’s intentional and meaningful,” the insider added.

In recent weeks, Swift and Kelce have become more visible. In addition to Swift’s children’s hospital visit, the couple were spotted on a date night in West Palm Beach, Florida, on May 23 at Harry’s restaurant.

The pair were also spotted at Kelce’s cousin’s wedding earlier this month in Tennessee, followed by an appearance at the Stanley Cup Finals in Sunrise, Florida, cheering on the Florida Panthers as they faced off against the Edmonton Oilers.

Kelce and Swift were spotted sharing a kiss during the game and packing on the PDA whenever the cameras turned to them. They were even seen holding hands as they walked into the arena, according to footage shared via Sportsnet.
