A woman testifying in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing sex trafficking case claims she purchased the disgraced rap mogul a mobile TV so he could watch porn during his alleged freak offs.
During Diddy’s trial in New York City on Monday, June 9, a series of alleged text messages were shown in court between the disgraced music mogul, 55, and a woman identified as Jane Doe from November 2023. Doe claimed that she purchased the electronic device for Diddy as a birthday gift. The TV was allegedly used so “that he could drag [it] around the room” and view porn while having sex.
The alleged exchange took place in November 2023 after news broke that Diddy’s ex Cassie filed a lawsuit against the rapper accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship, which lasted off and on from 2007 to 2018. (Diddy denied her claims and the pair settled the lawsuit out of court one day after its filing.)
“I almost fainted,” Doe said of her reaction to Cassie’s allegations. “In fact, I think I did because [there] were specific pages that just resembled my own experience.”

The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs began in New York City on May 5 following his September 2024 arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. The process began with jury selection, which was finalized on May 12 before opening arguments started that same day. Diddy, 55, has pleaded […]
Doe claimed that she did not know Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) and had only met the singer “in passing” at a “celebration” for Diddy following a 2015 fashion event. Doe testified that she has not been in contact with Cassie since.
After reading through Cassie’s allegations, Doe allegedly contacted Diddy.
“I just woke up because I’m nauseous. I’ve been crying for three days … I’m reading my exact same story,” the alleged text exchange read. “God finally woke me up out of my sick cycle … you knew this was coming and you gaslit me and made me feel crazy.”
Diddy then allegedly asked for Doe to call him and the pair spoke over the phone. A recording of the conversation, which Doe claimed she was unaware of, was played in court.
“I’m sorry that you feel this way … I don’t want you to feel this way,” Diddy allegedly said in a muffled recording.

The jury for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial heard audio of one of the rapper’s alleged “freak offs,” recorded on a phone and played for the court on Thursday, June 5. (The rapper has pleaded not guilty to all charges.) In the recording, a man identified as a male escort can be heard allegedly […]
Doe replied that Cassie’s experience was “word for word” like hers.
“You know me,” Diddy allegedly pleaded repeatedly. “We’ll get through this together.”
In addition to the recorded call, prosecutors showed alleged text messages sent from Doe to Diddy talking about her trauma.
“I know I was consenting. Being in my position, I just didn’t want to let you down,” one alleged message read. “When I didn’t want to do more, you’d say things like ‘Finish strong.’ You spoil others while you force me into those dark rooms. You placed all these men on me … you are a threat to my health and sanity.”
Doe also recalled how Diddy allegedly brought her “a video tape” so they “could look at” what they did on the TV she said she purchased for him.

Opening statements have begun in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial, and arguments by both sides revealed that allegations made by Cassie and an unnamed Jane Doe will be the primary focus of the trial. “This is Sean Combs,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson began on Monday, May 12, after the jury was finalized. “But […]
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Since his arrest, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Arun Subramanian.
