The singer-actress is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'One Battle After Another'

Teyana Taylor brought all the high-fashion drama to the 2026 Oscars red carpet.
The 35-year-old singer-actress is nominated for her first ever Academy Award tonight, but she's already won for her show-stopping look.
Taylor hit the carpet in a figure-hugging black gown by Chanel. The look included black and white pearl and crystal along the top and a sheer panel on the bodice that showed off her famously toned abs.
The ensemble also featured layers of black and white feathers cascading down the mermaid-style skirt.

The star was also decked in jewelry by Tiffany & Co. including a diamond necklace set in platinum and weighing in at more than 18 carats, teamed with earrings and rings in platinum with diamonds.
Taylor has had eventful award season on the style front. At the Golden Globes in January, she wore a custom black Schiaparelli gown featuring a bedazzled thong in the back. That night, the A Thousand and One star took home the Best Supporting Female Actor award.
At the Actor Awards on March 1, Taylor brought along her daughter Rue Rose, 5, who adorably fixed her dress on the red carpet. She opted for a simmering silver and white gown by Thom Browne. The dress was made up of 160 pattern pieces and featured 400,000 sequins and 175,000 beads.

In One Battle After Another, Taylor plays Perfidia Beverly Hills, a revolutionary leader who falls in love Leonardo Dicaprio's character Pat Calhoun. The Paul Thomas Anderson-directed film is also up for Best Picture.

Taylor spoke with PEOPLE exclusively in February about how she's preparing for her possible win.
"I'm not thinking about my speech. I'm not even trying to go down that rabbit hole," she shared. "I'm pacing myself. I don't want to jinx anything. Honestly, I'm having just a good time. Having fun and staying grounded, that's so important for me. You know what I'm saying?" said Taylor.

"I got so much more work to do," she said, humbly. "Win or lose, to have this moment that I'm having right now feels amazing. I feel like I already won spiritually… Mentally, emotionally, in regards to just being a part of the conversation, being nominated amongst amazing women that I'm inspired by."
One Battle After Another is nominated for 13 awards at the Oscars, following behind Sinners, which leads with 16 total nominations, breaking a record for the most nominations for a single film ever.
