Every other month, my mom sends me mini care packages. Last year, nestled among new dish towels and peppermint tea, she snuck in something a little extra special: the Lego Heart Ornament set.
Although its government name uses the word “ornament,” I would describe this build as more of a wreath — especially since it’s 7.5 inches wide and not for my Christmas tree. My Instagram followers doted on this set after I posted it on my story, so I naturally had to share it with all of you, too. The best news? It’s in stock at Amazon for under $15.
I scoured the website for more of the cutest Valentine’s Day-themed Lego sets. Keep scrolling to shop my lovey-dovey finds from $10.
Lego Sets for Valentine’s Day
Lego Heart Ornament
As someone who builds a lot of Legos, this one ranks high on my favorites list because of its customizable nature. The directions walk you through how to build the wreath’s frame and one possible design. From there, you can chart your own aesthetic course by mixing and matching colors and playing with the placement of flowers, greenery, and hearts. For example, I chose to add extra light pink hearts and pop in touches of purple around the exterior.
How to Display:
You’ll see that I exhibit the heart wreath on my bookshelf among my trinkets and favorite literature. My trick? I pulled a Christmas stocking hanger out of the closet to act as a sleek holder. Otherwise, a Command hook will do the job.
Lego Roses
Although I haven’t built this exact Botanical set, I do own its Cherry Blossom cousin. As such, I can confirm that sets like this are enjoyable to construct and result in year-round home decor. I imagine these 10-inch roses displayed in a vase or nestled into the soil of a house plant. They also make for an adorably mushy Valentine’s Day gift, as they’re flowers that’ll never die.
Lego Art Love Sculpture
Did you know that Robert Indiana’s famous Love sculpture was first created as a screenprint he made for personal greeting cards? Indiana’s art world friends loved it so much the Museum of Modern Art caught wind, used it for their annual Christmas card, and its popularity eventually led it to its iconic aluminum adaptations we know today.
This Lego set allows you to bring that history into your home this Valentine’s Day. The vibrant set contains 791 pieces and measures 10 inches wide and tall once constructed. Cute date idea: Gift this set to your honey and then plan a night to build it together.
