Tim Tebow and his wife Demi-Leigh are celebrating their baby-to-be!
On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the couple shared scenes from their South African-inspired baby shower on Instagram, which featured pastel colors and florals. In one photo, the retired NFL star and his South African model wife could be seen posing together, with Tim placing a hand on his wife’s stomach.
Demi-Leigh wore a white dress with red flowers embroidered up and down it, smiling as she turned to the camera.
The couple could also be seen heading into the venue, holding hands as they smiled. The baby shower itself included white chairs and tables, as well as drinks, cake and cookies all prepared by South African vendors.

“Baby Tebow is in bloom đđ©”đ©·,” Demi-Leigh wrote in her post. “Spending most of my time in the U.S., one of the hardest things is not being able to share some of lifeâs special moments with my friends and family back home in South Africa. Iâm especially grateful for this time to celebrate Baby Tebow with some of the people that have been in my life since I was little!”
She went on to thank her friend for planning the event for her and added that everything was set up by “proudly South African local vendors.”
“All of the Tebow Pack details made my heart beam. đ€,” she added.
In January, Tim and Demi-Leigh shared they are expecting their first baby together, expressing their joy at becoming first-time parents ahead of their public announcement on Instagram.
“We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together,” Demi-Leigh told PEOPLE of her first-time pregnancy with Tim, who said he’s “honored for the privilege of getting the responsibility and the joy of being mom and dad.”
Tim and Demi-Leigh, who first met in 2018 and wed in January 2020, are ready to take the “deep friendship” and “roots” they’ve built in their relationship and bring what they’ve learned from the last five years into parenthood.
“I’m so grateful because I just couldn’t imagine a better life partner to do life with first and foremost,” said the former Miss Universe. “To be able to raise a little tiny human being together. I’m so grateful that Tim is my husband… that we get to do parenting together.”
