Tom Brady does not intend to renege on his broadcasting contract with Fox Sports, his agent said Thursday.
Following his debut as sports commentator for the network, the football legend is expected to continue throughout the duration of his 10-year contract, his agent Don Yee told Sports Business Journal on Thursday, Jan. 16.
“Tom has had a tremendous amount of fun working with Fox this year, and he’s really excited about the future with Fox and his growth on their team,” Yee told the outlet. “And this year was the first year of a long relationship.”
There has been continued commentary of Brady’s role at Fox and his newly-official 5% limited ownership with the Los Angeles Raiders — as many have criticized the dual roles as being a conflict of interest.
The 7-time Super Bowl champion signed a multi-year $375 million contract with the network in 2022, and then midway through his first season in the broadcast booth, the NFL officially approved his minority stake in the Raiders in October 2024.
The NFL previously imposed restrictions for Brady as he navigates both roles, including barring him from entering another team’s facilities and attending meetings or practices, but questions have continued to linger surrounding Brady’s unique position, according to ESPN.

Brady, 47, made his debut with Fox Sports in September and previously said that playing in the NFL is “more fun,” but his new career as a sports broadcaster is also “pretty cool.”
“It’s been really fun to sit and watch these games from the 50-yard line,” Brady said during an appearance on the Let’s Go! podcast. “Although I’d much prefer to be on the field playing, because it’s a lot more fun down there, but I’m not doing that anymore. But just watching from above and seeing how these guys are performing is pretty cool,” he added.
Speaking with PEOPLE later in September, Brady said he’s enjoying the gig.
“Now, I’m back to work and I’m enjoying that, so I have no complaints,” he said. “Just like everybody else, I try to wake up and try to do my best for the people that matter the most to me. And when you commit to the people like I have in my broadcasting at Fox, I want to do a great job for them and my teammates there. So my life’s pretty full. I’m very happy.”
