Travis Kelce Hopes Mom Donna Won’t Wear Split Chiefs-Eagles Jersey to 2025 Super Bowl

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, has a now-famous split Kansas City Chiefs-Philadelphia Eagles jersey, but it hopefully won’t be seen at the 2025 Super Bowl.

“I mean, I would hope she didn’t have the split jersey this time,” Travis, 35, quipped during a Thursday, February 6, press conference. “Philly reeled in my entire family on this one. I think she’ll be wearing red. I think everybody outside of Jason and Kylie [Kelce] is going to be wearing all-red.”

Travis is a tight end for the Chiefs, who will play the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9, in a rematch from the 2023 NFL championship. (The Chiefs won the 2023 title matchup, defeating the Eagles when Jason, 37, still played center. He retired in 2024.)

At the time, Donna rocked a half-and-half Chiefs and Eagles jersey and paired it with a similarly split denim jacket, custom-painted Vans and spirited earrings. Donna later re-wore the pinny in Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown, which was filmed in 2024 at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium. (Donna also made a cameo in the network’s Christmas on Call, which was set in Philadelphia, in her Eagles gear.)

Jason Kelce is torn over what he should wear — and who he should root for — at Super Bowl LIX. “We need to get you a mom jacket [or] a jersey,” Travis Kelce told his older brother on the Wednesday, January 29, episode of their “New Heights” podcast, referring to their mom Donna Kelce’s […]

Travis is expected to invite his whole family, including parents Donna and Ed Kelce and brother Jason, to watch Super Bowl LIX from a private suite at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome alongside the tight end’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Jason’s wife, Kylie, will also likely join the crew in the box despite being a diehard Eagles fan.

“Obviously, this time when the Eagles play the Chiefs, it is a little bit different because my husband is retired from the Eagles,” Kylie, who previously said she could never wear a Chiefs jersey out of sheer loyalty, stated on her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast earlier this week. “That being said, I am so happy and proud of Travis and the Chiefs’ accomplishments. I think that the opportunity to play for such a historic milestone is incredible to be able to potentially witness.”

She continued, “I think that Travis has been there for his entire career, he has worked so hard and put in so much time that I am truly as always cheering Travis on. I love him, he’s my family. So I will always cheer on Travis’ accomplishments and hopefully successes.”

Kylie further noted that she and Jason had special “Go Uncle Trav” T-shirts made for their three daughters — Kylie is also pregnant with baby No. 4 — to wear during the game. Travis, meanwhile, is ecstatic that he has the support of the whole family.

“They know exactly who they are rooting for,” Travis joked on Thursday. “I love Jason and Kylie to death and this game isn’t going to get in between how much I love them. The fact that the girls are going to be wearing a ‘Go Uncle Travvy’ shirt warms my heart and gives me something else to fight for. Hopefully, I can make them proud and put a few smiles on their faces throughout the game.”
