Travis Kelce is a devoted uncle to brother Jason Kelce’s daughters, and he always has a nice time bonding with them on holidays.
During a Thursday, April 25, bonus clip of their “New Heights” podcast, Travis, 35, and Jason, 37, fielded a fan question about family Easter traditions during a “New Heights Hotline” segment.
“It was adorable last year when I saw them running around in the backyard searching for the eggs,” Travis gushed of nieces Wyatt, now 5, and Ellie, now 4.
Jason, meanwhile, chimed in that the egg hunt is good for “really, really young” children.

Jason Kelce’s daughters famously didn’t want Travis to win the 2022 Super Bowl, but the girls still love their “Uncle Travy.” Travis Kelce isn’t a father himself, but he’s definitely a model uncle to brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce’s four daughters — Wyatt Elizabeth, born in October 2019, Elliotte Ray, born in March 2021, […]
“Everybody likes a good scavenger hunt,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles center quipped.
Jason shares Wyatt and Ellie, as well as younger daughters Bennett, 2, and Finn, who was born late last month, with wife Kylie Kelce. The ESPN contributor further revealed on Thursday how he wants to change their family’s Easter tradition as his girls get older.
“I’m gonna give a shout-out to Greg and Gail Davis for having us over for Easter when we were in college,” he added on the Wondery+ podcast exclusive. “They used to do a scavenger hunt every year, and they would write clues and you’d go around and try to find your Easter egg basket. I’m much more into the scavenger hunt … than I am the Easter egg hunt, personally.”
He added, “I am stealing that for sure, I can’t wait for Ellie and Wyatt to be old enough to read.”
Jason and Travis grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, with their parents, now-exes Donna and Ed Kelce. According to Travis, their childhood Easter celebrations never “really got that crazy.”
“It was like a behave day, like, I knew not to f*** around that day,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end quipped, after Jason teased Ed was “weird” with their hunt plans. Travis added, “He never put the egg! It would be just a straight-up present in the tree.”
In addition to an egg hunt, Donna and Ed would also take their sons to a church service.
“In all seriousness, Easter and Christmas were pretty much the only two days we went to church,” Jason quipped.
While it’s not known how the Kelces celebrated the holiday on Sunday, April 20, Travis and girlfriend Taylor Swift have recently taken a step back from the public eye.
“Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier in April. “They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
