Travis Scott Gets Laid Out Cold At WrestleMania 41 by WWE’s Cody Rhodes

Less than 24 hours after his headlining performance at Coachella, rapper Travis Scott was face down inside the ring at WrestleMania.

Scott, 33, got involved in the WrestleMania Night 2 main event between Cody Rhodes and John Cena at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, April 20, waltzing his way to the ring as a means to distract Rhodes, 39, during his Undisputed WWE Championship defense against Cena, 47.

After making it to ringside, Scott pulled the official out of the ring as Rhodes was on the verge of victory.

An irate Rhodes demanded Scott get inside the ring, to which the music star obliged. After the two went back-and-forth in each other’s faces, Scott attempted to punch Rhodes in the face — a callback to Scott attacking Rhodes at March’s WWE Elimination Chamber.

However, Rhodes countered Scott’s strike and hit him with a Cross Rhodes, the wrestler’s finishing move smack dab in the middle of the squared circle.

“I get those goosebumps every,” WWE play-by-play announcer Michael Cole said, referencing one of Scott’s biggest songs as the sold-out crowd of more than 60,000 people erupted.

Rhodes rolled Scott out of the ring but, moments later, Cena clocked Rhodes over the head with the Undisputed WWE Championship belt and secured the victory. Cena’s win made him a 17-time WWE champion, breaking a tie with Ric Flair for the most of all-time.

Scott eventually made his way back inside the ring and celebrated with Cena to conclude the event. The clip of Scott and Cena celebrating together had already been viewed nearly 2 million times by the morning of Monday, April 21.

After Scott made his appearance at Elimination Chamber in March, in which he aligned himself with Cena and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the “Sicko Mode” rapper gushed about the experience in a video shared by WWE on social media.

“Bro, this might be better than, low-key, performing,” Scott told WWE’s chief content officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. “It was like a whole ‘nother vibe. Yo, it was so crazy because in the ring I was like, ‘We about to be straight bad guys.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, it’s about to hit.’”

Levesque, 55, hinted at another in-ring appearance for Scott in the future, saying, “Wait until you get in there for real.”

“I’m already hooked!” Scott — who shares two kids with ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner — said. “”I’m going back to the H [his hometown of Houston] tonight. I’m going to the ring tomorrow! I’m about to build a ring in all the cribs.”
