President Donald Trump's rally in Kentucky on Wednesday, March 11, was briefly interrupted after an attendee collapsed, prompting Dr. Mehmet Oz to join first responders in helping the woman.

The incident occurred as Trump was talking about California Gov. Gavin Newsom at the event in Hebron, Ky. Members of the audience standing behind the president, 79, began raising their hands and shouting for a medic.

After getting Trump's attention, the crowd pointed to the ground. Trump then turned back and forth a few times before asking, “Do we have a doctor in the house? A doctor?”

"Yeah, take your time, please," he said as first responders worked on the attendee in the background. "Take your time. We have all the time. These are great people. They waited so long. Hours and hours. They're great people right? We all have time, right?"

As more scattered yells broke out, Trump looked at the camera and said, "First responders are incredible," which caused the crowd to cheer.

The president then suggested a soundtrack while the attendee was being treated. "Want to play a song? Do you think the people backstage are listening to me?" Trump asked, before saying, "How about 'Ave Maria' because this is going to be ok? How about putting it on right now?"

The song was not played, and first responders, with help from Oz, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), could be seen helping the woman to her feet.

Once she was standing, the woman smiled and waved to Trump, who clapped and pumped his fist in the air.

As the team prepared to help walk the woman off the risers, Trump said, "Take your time, doctor, take your time," to which Oz nodded.

"She looks great," said Trump before the woman was assisted out.

“It’s Dr. Oz!” Trump shared. "Can you believe it? Dr. Oz! And he’s a good doctor. Thank you, Oz."

Oz was also on hand when a man appeared to have a medical emergency and collapsed in the Oval Office during a Trump press conference in November 2025.

On Wednesday, March 11, the president was in Hebron, Ky., to visit a packing plant and also offer support to farmer and Ed Gallrein. The former Navy SEAL is running for the Republican nomination in Kentucky's fourth Congressional District against incumbent Rep. Thomas Massie, a seven-term Republican who voted against Trump's Big Beautiful Bill.
