Vanessa Hudgens can’t help but celebrate her husband, Cole Tucker!
On Thursday, July 3, the actress, 36, posted a sweet Instagram tribute to her husband for his 29th birthday.
The actress shared an adorable photo of herself and the MLB player, both wearing funky sunglasses, as they made silly faces for the camera.
“Happy birthday to my best friend/lover/partner in life,” the High School Musical alum wrote in the caption. “@cotuck you’re everything to meeeeeee. No one does it better. 🥳🎂😘,” she concluded.
“You’re the best mama thank you ❤️,” he replied in the comment section.
Tucker also shares his birthday with the couple’s first child.

Ahead of celebrating Tucker’s birthday, Hudgens paid tribute to her husband for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 15.
In the photo, Tucker was sitting on a plane and wearing headphones while holding a dog in his lap. “Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy in the world,” Hudgens wrote. “You make parenting so much more fun, musical and magical.”
The pair welcomed their first child together last summer. TMZ first reported that the High School Musical alum gave birth on July 3, and shared photos of the actress and the baby heading home from the hospital that day.
The next day, the Tick, Tick, Boom actress posted on her Instagram Stories that she was not the first to share the news of her baby’s arrival, and criticized the release of the photos.
“We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media,” she wrote at the time. “Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy.”
Hudgens and Tucker got engaged in February 2023, and the actress told PEOPLE the proposal caught her a bit by surprise, revealing she “was bawling my eyes out” at the time.
On Dec. 2, 2023, they tied the knot in Tulum, Mexico, at the Azulik City of Arts. Hudgens walked down the aisle in a Vera Wang wedding dress and a custom embroidered veil that read: “Mrs. T December 2nd, 2023.”
The ceremony, where Tucker and Hudgens exchanged personalized vows, was officiated by former monk Jay Shetty.
“[My advice to others is] don’t do first looks, because seeing each other at the altar for the first time is the most emotional moment of my life,” the actress told Vogue. “I literally keeled over when I saw Cole and had to take a big breath and had to force myself to keep walking because I could have dropped to the floor.”
