Victoria Beckham is marking her daughter Harper’s 14th birthday!
On Thursday, July 10, the fashion designer shared a carousel of videos and photographs of the teen from throughout her childhood. Ranging from a black-and-white snap of 51-year-old Victoria while she was pregnant to a toddler Harper dressing up in her mom’s shoes. The clips also featured Harper dancing ballet, playing the flute, and singing along to Carly Rae Jepsen’s track “Call Me Maybe” in her school uniform.
“Happy birthday to me world,” began Victoria’s emotional caption. “You are my everything and I’m so proud of the strong, confident, kind and talented young lady you are becoming. You’re my best friend and I’m so lucky I get to be your mummy. We love you so so much Harper Seven. Enjoy your special day.”
Victoria also tagged her husband, former soccer star David Beckham, 50.
Famous faces sending birthday wishes to Harper in the post’s comments included entrepreneur Kim Kardashian, 44, who wrote, “Happy Birthday sweet Harper,” while supermodel Helena Christensen, 56, added, “Such a beautiful spirit 💖 happy birthday to your girl 💞.”
Harper’s big brother, Romeo, 22, also posted his own social media tribute to his sister. Sharing a photograph of them together via Instagram Stories, he wrote, “Happy 14th to the most amazing human there is. Love you always and forever.”
Back in a May 2017 interview with Elle UK, Victoria reflected on allowing her children to “figure out their passions” and teaching Harper to value more than just her appearance.
“I think it’s getting the balance right, not stifling them and then ending up with a child that rebels,” she said. “I say to her, ‘Harper, it’s not who’s the prettiest girl in the class, it’s not even who is the smartest girl in the class, it’s who is the nicest and most hard-working girl in the class.’ I don’t like her to focus too much on her appearance.”

David and Victoria welcomed Harper on July 10, 2011, at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She weighed 7 lbs., 10 oz.

The soccer player revealed they were expecting a girl six months prior, saying at an L.A. Galaxy fan luncheon, “Obviously, we’re very lucky to be expecting again, and this is the first time I’m going to say it: It’s a little girl.”And shortly after her birth, the sporting ace shared the deeper meaning behind his daughter’s name in a Facebook video. “Victoria’s favorite book is To Kill A Mockingbird. It’s a very strong, passionate book and the author was Harper Lee, and that is where Harper came from,” he said.

David added, “The main reason behind Seven was it symbolizes spiritual perfection — the seven wonders of the world, the seven colors of the rainbow — and in many cultures it is a lucky number. We love the name and we love Harper Seven. We are very happy to have her in our lives and in our family, and it is an amazing time for our family right now.”
Along with Harper, David and Victoria share three sons, Brooklyn, 26, Romeo and Cruz, 20.
