‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ premiered in 1990 and made stars out of its young cast, including Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth and Brian Austin Green

Beverly Hills, 90210 aired its final episode on May 17, 2000, bringing a decade of drama and intense romances to an emotional end.
Created by Darren Star, the series premiered on Fox on Oct. 4, 1990, centering on a group of siblings and friends living in a posh Southern California town during their high school years and beyond. In what became a cultural phenomenon, the show made stars of its young cast, including Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green.
Beverly Hills, 90210 paved the way for teen soaps and spawned a spinoff, Melrose Place, and a 2008 reboot called 90210. In 2019, many of the show’s original stars returned for BH90210, a revival based on the cast’s real lives.
After the hit teen show concluded, some of its leading actors have expanded their careers. However, the show hasn’t been without its tragedy off-screen. Cast members Luke Perry and Shannen Doherty — whose characters were part of a memorable love triangle — tragically died in March 2019 and July 2024, respectively.
So, where is the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 now? Here’s what the stars have been up to 26 years after the beloved series ended.

Jennie Garth as Kelly Taylor

Since her days as troubled Kelly Taylor, Garth has done a lot of TV work, including the aughts sitcom What I Like About You alongside Amanda Bynes. The Illinois-born actress competed on season 5 of Dancing with the Stars in 2007 before reprising her role as a more responsible Kelly on the CW sequel series 90210 from 2008 to 2013.
Garth then landed the role of Charlie Contour on ABC Family’s one-season sitcom Mystery Girls in 2014 alongside her former Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Spelling before rejoining her longtime pal on the 2019 Fox reboot series. The two also launched a rewatch podcast, 90210MG, in November 2020.
She has released two memoirs, 2014’s Deep Thoughts from a Hollywood Blonde and 2026’s I Choose Me: Chasing Joy, Finding Purpose & Embracing Reinvention, and a 2026 companion book for the latter, Choosing Me Every Day. Her last on-screen project was the 2022 thriller Bad Influence.
Garth was previously married to Daniel B. Clark from 1994 to 1996. She and actor Peter Facinelli tied the knot in January 2001 and welcomed three daughters, Luca, Lola and Fiona, before finalizing their divorce in June 2013. Garth wed third husband Dave Abrams in July 2015. The two had a brief 10-month separation before announcing in January 2025 that they had called off their divorce.

Tori Spelling as Donna Martin

Spelling played Kelly’s best friend, Donna Martin, who was originally written as a supporting character but was developed into a main one throughout the series.
Since then, the L.A. native filled her time with a few reality shows, including So Notorious and Tori & Dean: Inn Love, a 2016 vampire Lifetime movie and the 2025 Lifetime thriller Abducted in the Everglades.
In 2019, she reprised her role as Donna for a multi-episode arc on the BH90210 reboot. She also co-hosted the rewatch podcast 90210MG with Garth before exiting the project in mid-2026, and began hosting a personal podcast, misSPELLING, in April 2024.
Off-screen, Spelling is a mother to five children, whom she shares with ex-husband Dean McDermott.

Shannen Doherty as Brenda Walsh

Beyond playing Brandon’s fierce twin sister Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210 and the 2019 reboot, Doherty landed iconic roles on Charmed and in films like 1989’s Heathers and 1995’s Mallrats.
The Tennessee-born actress had been open about her journey with breast cancer since her diagnosis in March 2015. Doherty announced she was in remission in April 2017 and underwent breast reconstruction surgery in May 2018. Then in early 2020, she announced she’d been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.
She continued to act, appearing on a Riverdale tribute episode for her late Beverly Hills, 90210 costar Perry and starring in the 2021 film Fortress alongside Bruce Willis and Chad Michael Murray.
In April 2023, she announced her divorce from her husband of 11 years, producer Kurt Iswarienko.
Doherty died on July 13, 2024. She was 53.

Jason Priestley as Brandon Walsh

Jason Priestley played Doherty’s on-screen brother, Brandon Walsh (and later Donna’s husband), on Beverly Hills, 90210 and reprised the role on the 2019 reboot.
He has starred on other shows, including the Canadian series Call Me Fitz and Private Eyes. He also directed episodes of those projects and Beverly Hills, 90210, as well as many other series over the years such as Secret Life of the American Teenager, Van Helsing and My Life with the Walter Boys. He was also an executive producer of the 2025 documentary I Am Luke Perry.
The Canadian actor’s last major projects were the buddy-cop series Wild Cards, which aired from 2024 to 2026, and the 2025 drama All There Is. He’ll reprise his role as Matt Shade on the spinoff Private Eyes West Coast, premiering on The CW in October 2026, per Deadline.
The father of two has been married to Naomi Lowde since May 2005.

Brian Austin Green as David Silver

Green portrayed the awkward David Silver on Beverly Hills, 90210, later reprising the role on the 2019 reboot.
Since then, he’s appeared on The Conners and That ‘90s Show, as well as in films like Last the Night (2022), Golden (2025) and 2026’s The 3 Killer Pigs (2026), and he competed on season 30 of DWTS in 2021.
In August 2026, Green shared that it took him five years to recover from “stroke-like symptoms” for a neurological issue that began when he was “39, 40” years old (around 2012 or 2013) but “was never completely diagnosed.”
The L.A. native began dating his DWTS partner Sharna Burgess in October 2020. They welcomed son Zane Walker in June 2022 and got engaged in September 2023.
A father of five boys, Green also shares three sons, Noah Shannon, Bodhi Ransom and Journey River, with ex-wife Megan Fox and his oldest son, Kassius, with ex Vanessa Marcil.

Tiffani Thiessen as Valerie Malone

After rising to fame as Kelly Kapowski on NBC’s Saved by the Bell from 1989 to 1993, Tiffani Thiessen joined the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 as mean girl Valerie Malone for nine seasons.
The California native has kept busy, starring on White Collar and Alexa & Katie and reprising her role as the iconic Kelly on Peacock’s Saved by the Bell reboot. In August 2026, she announced on Instagram that she’ll next star on the supernatural dramedy Coven Academy, set to premiere on Freeform in October 2026.
These days, Thiessen is quite the culinary expert. The former host of the Cooking Channel’s Dinner at Tiffani‘s, she previously told PEOPLE in February 2017, “The kitchen is where I spend the most time.” (She also hosted MTV’s comedy food-related clip show Deliciousness from 2020 to 2022.)
Thiessen shares two children, daughter Harper and son Holt, with her husband, actor Brady Smith, whom she wed in July 2005.

Ian Ziering as Steve Sanders

After playing the privileged Steve Sanders, Ian Ziering chainsawed through storms of sea creatures alongside Tara Reid in the Sharknado franchise and danced with Cheryl Burke on season 4 of DWTS in 2007.
He also proudly worked as a Chippendales dancer, with his Beverly Hills, 90210 costars Garth and Doherty paying a visit to one of his 2013 performances.
“Judging by their reactions, I know they had a great time,” he previously told PEOPLE about their mini-reunion, which was continued on the 2019 BH90210 reboot.
The New Jersey native’s newest project is producing and hosting the CW reality series The Great American Road Rally: Celebrity Edition, which premiered in September 2026, with cars racing along Route 66 for various charities.
Ziering was married to Playboy model Nikki Schieler from 1997 to 2002. In May 2010, he wed Erin Ludwig, with whom he shares daughters Mia Loren and Penna Mae. They separated in October 2019 and finalized their divorce in September 2022, and he’s now dating designer Caila Dean.

Luke Perry as Dylan McKay

Following his run as bad-boy heartthrob Dylan McKay, Perry returned to teen TV with a recurring role as Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews, on the CW’s Archie Comics adaptation Riverdale.
The actor died at age 52 on March 4, 2019, five days after suffering a stroke.
Before his death, Perry hadn’t signed on for the 90210 reboot, but the show honored the late star. His final movie was 2019’s Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, which was released posthumously.
Perry had two children, son Jack and daughter Sophie, whom he shared with ex-wife Rachel “Minnie” Sharp.

Gabrielle Carteris as Andrea Zuckerman

Gabrielle Carteris was the oldest West Beverly High alum on this list, portraying Andrea Zuckerman on the first five seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210.
She’s continued to stand up against ageism in Hollywood, writing a 2016 guest column for The Hollywood Reporter in which she called for ages to be removed from casting sites like IMDb.
“This problem exists for all performers, but most distinctly for women,” the former SAG-AFTRA president wrote.
The San Francisco native reprised her role as Andrea on BH90210, has guest-starred on shows like NCIS, 9-1-1 and Middlehood and had a multi-episode arc on the first season of Code Black. She’s also worked as a voice actor for video games and cartoons and is the current president of the International Federation of Actors (FIA).
Carteris wed her husband, stockbroker Charles Isaacs, in May 1992. They later welcomed two children, daughters Kelsey and Mollie.
