Jacob Batalon has found the one.
The Spider-Man: Homecoming actor got engaged to his fiancée Veronica Leahov on March 5. He announced the big news in an Instagram post, writing, “The beginning of the rest of our lives together❤️🔥♾️🔐👸🏼👩🏼❤️👨🏽🤞🏽🌎.”
Leahov replied, “All mine forever ♾️🥂💍❤️🔥❤️🔥🔒.”
A few days later, the pair attended the premiere of his latest film, Novocaine, together, where Batalon wasn’t shy about expressing his love for his fiancée on the red carpet.
“She is the most supportive person I’ve ever met in my life,” the actor told Entertainment Tonight. “She loves to see me win and I love to see her win. She’s just inspired me to be a better person and to work harder at my job.”
So who is Jacob Batalon’s fiancée? Here’s everything to know about Veronica Leahov and her relationship with the actor.
She was born and raised in Moldova
Leahov was born and raised in Moldova, which is located in Europe between Romania and Ukraine.
She lived in Belgium from 2014 until 2017, per her website, before she moved to New York City to earn her master’s degree in interior design.
Leahov went on to graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology in November 2022, per her LinkedIn.
She is an architectural designer
Leahov began working as an intern at the Rockwell Group in New York in May 2019, and returned the following summer, per her LinkedIn. She was then promoted to a junior interior designer position in February 2020.
According to her website, she worked alongside designer and architect David Rockwell, who became her “mentor.”
“The clean lines and bold shapes of his designs left an indelible impression,” she wrote on her website. “I learnt that sophistication is the ultimate luxury.”
As of March 2022, she has been a commercial interior designer at RH, per her LinkedIn.
“My focus is on what I love best: exclusive private residences and holiday homes in the beautiful environs of New York, Hamptons and London,” Leahov’s website reads.
They got engaged in March 2025
The Reginald the Vampire star popped the big question to Leahov in front of the N.Y.C. skyline on March 5.
Leahov announced the news in an Instagram post of her own, writing, “A lifetime of us!!!! I never imagined my heart could hold so much love and feel such depth of emotion.”
She continued, “This is the purest happiness I’ve ever known, and I can’t wait to spend forever with the love of my life!! 💍♾️❤️🔥.”
During an interview with Metro Entertainment a few days later, the actor addressed the serendipitous timing of the occasion, which happened within two months of when his Spider-Man costars Tom Holland and Zendaya got engaged.
“No, we did not know about each other’s plans like that,” Batalon said. “But I will say I thought about it first.”
Leahov dreams of having their wedding in Italy
During his conversation with Entertainment Tonight on the Novocaine red carpet, Batalon shared that the pair are focused on “enjoying the engagement” for now — but they do have some wedding plans in mind.
While Batalon shared that Leahov is already dreaming of having the special day in Italy’s Lake Como, he shared some wedding must-haves of his own.
“I mean, some adobo for sure,” he said. “And then maybe some like — I kind of want to wear Aloha shirts instead of a tuxedo.”
The actor also shared his thoughts on what it’s like to now call Leahov his fiancée.
“It’s a really cool adult word, I would say,” Batalon said. “I feel very fancy. Fiancée … it’s really great.”
Batalon showed Leahov “what true love really is”
In October 2024, Leahov shared a sweet birthday message to her beau on Instagram, writing, “You entered my life and showed me what true love really is.”
“To be loved and cared for so deeply is something I will cherish forever,” Leahov continued. “I watch the way you love and care for everyone in your life and it makes my heart explode. Your love completes me, I love everything about you. Especially how caring and inspiring you are.”
Leahov also noted how “proud” she is of Batalon and all of his accomplishments.
“I’ll always be by your side cheering you on!” she wrote. “Your evolution, your purpose, your heart have filled me with honor to stand by your side.”
Leahov concluded, “You are my home, I love you forever🔐♾️👩❤️💋👨.”
Batalon said Leahov is the “most amazing person” in his life
Leahov isn’t the only one who has declared her love for her partner on social media.
In November 2024, the actor shared a birthday tribute to his “soul” on Instagram, writing, “You’re truly the most amazing person in my life and I’m thankful that I get to call you mine.”
“You’re thoughtful, kind, smart, and funny as f—,” Batalon continued. “I just want the world to know how unique and special you are, this year is gonna be another amazing year of life! I’m so excited, and I’m looking forward to spending it with you and the rest of our future together❤️.”
