Hilaria Baldwin is opening up about getting a breast lift.
On the April 6 episode of The Baldwins, the 41-year-old shared her reason for getting the cosmetic procedure, admitting that it’s due to the changes she’s noticed with her body since having kids.
She and husband Alec Baldwin, who tied the knot in 2012, share seven children — Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2. Alec is also dad to daughter Ireland, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
“Since I was breastfeeding for so long, it was one of these things I decided to do, like, a little up,” she said on the show.
“I’ve been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for over a decade. I think this is the first time that I’ve not been pregnant and/or breastfeeding since I’ve started having kids,” she said in a confessional. “I got used to my body more or less a certain way than as most women know who breastfeed and the milk goes out, it’s a different, much lower reality. It almost felt like my body wasn’t my body anymore, because I was so used to my body being a certain way.”
“It was just to make myself feel okay, and that’s okay,” she added.
Hilaria admitted that she sometimes worries about doing anything cosmetic because of her daughters, especially her eldest Carmen, who is a tween.
“Anytime I do something in the realm of vanity, I don’t want them to feel that they have to be a certain way. And I want to try to protect Carmen because I’ve experienced a lot of self-doubt and listened to the criticism more than I should have,” she explained.
Back in 2018, Hilaria discussed overcoming her struggles with body confidence, sharing an unedited bikini photo of herself on Instagram along with a message of celebrating all body types and empowering women to embrace their true selves.
“I opened up about growing up with an eating disorder. I turned to yoga, health and wellness to heal my body and my mind,” she said, referencing her 2016 book The Living Clearly Method.
“I think back to my old self and how much I would have struggled with gaining weight during pregnancy and being patient with healthfully losing it. I’m so happy I can be a strong and happy mommy now, completely accepting of my body,” she added.

Hilaria later posted on her Instagram Story how she’s improved her relationship with her body. “I have found that being healthy is about not focusing on weight and rather on how I feel, how strong I am, and how healthy I am,” she said at the time.
The Baldwins airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
