A woman has been found guilty by a California jury of administering an illegal silicone injection to an OnlyFans model — known for her resemblance to Kim Kardashian — which resulted in the model’s death.
Vivian Alexandra Gomez, 53, was convicted of felony involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license in connection with the 2023 death of Christina Ashten Gourkani, according to a post shared to X by the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday, March 24.
Prosecutors said the Florida woman traveled to the Bay Area in April 2023 to administer a silicone butt injection to 34-year-old Gourkani at a hotel near the San Francisco International Airport, ABC7, KTVU and NBC News reported.

Soon after, Gourkani fell ill and died of “respiratory failure,” the social media post said.
San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe previously explained that she developed an infection that led to a pulmonary embolism, “which can be fatal,” KTVU reported. Prosecutors reportedly said silicone was found in Gourkani’s bloodstream.

Gomez, who had been out on bail with restrictions, was remanded to custody after her guilty verdict was read in court, according to KTVU. She is scheduled to be sentenced on May 5.
After her death, Gourkani’s family launched a GoFundMe campaign asking for donations, saying they were “grateful” for the support they had received and that Gourkani “will forever be our guardian angel." The campaign link no longer leads to an active fundraiser.
