An Arizona woman was sentenced to 52 years in prison after admitting to sexually assaulting a toddler and a dog.
Kelly Rae Smith pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual assault against a child, three counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a child and one count of bestiality, Arizona court records indicate.
Following her guilty pleas, Smith was handed a prison sentence that will not allow her to be released before 2077, according to AZFamily, Fox 10 and KTAR.
The outlets reported, citing the Yavapai County Attorney, that Smith's plea agreement requires that she serve every day of her 52-year sentence. She has been given credit for 10 months time served following her arrest in May 2025.
Prosecutors said Smith was reported to authorities by an acquaintance who claimed the defendant had made online comments about molesting children's she'd babysat, according to AZFamily.
The same acquaintance, per the outlet, also reported having seen a video of Smith engaging in sexual acts with a dog.

AZFamily further reported that prosecutors said detectives later discovered a video of Smith sexually assaulting the toddler and another involving bestiality.
Smith also possessed child sex abuse material and had engaged in internet chats discussing child sex abuse fantasies, the outlets reported.
Smith is currently listed as incarcerated in Yavapai County jail and is not yet listed in Arizona state prison records.
