Jessica Allen couldn’t help falling in love with her now-husband, Travis Allen, after meeting at one of his Elvis Presley tribute shows.
Jessica tells PEOPLE she was instantly drawn to his “energy” and “charisma.” During the performance, the pair, fittingly, shared a kiss on stage to the song “Can’t Help Falling in Love” — and that they did.
Despite their meeting feeling like fate, Jessica tells PEOPLE she had to return home to Switzerland soon after. However, Travis invited her to meet him at one of his shows in Brazil — and the rest is history.
“Everything moved so fast. We met in March 2024, got married that September, and I moved to Vegas in February 2025,” Jessica recalls. “If you know, you know. Just like the song says, where we shared our first kiss on stage to the very same tune: ‘Wise men say only fools rush in… but I can’t help falling in love with you.’ ”
Jessica documents her life as the wife of an Elvis tribute artist in Las Vegas on her TikTok, sharing a glimpse into Travis’s shows and travels around the country.
“Travis rarely has a day off. During the day, he might have weddings or gigs, and most nights he has his show,” she says. “Sometimes one show rolls right into the next, and no two days are ever the same.”
“I often go with him, sometimes to record for our content, and sometimes just because it’s exciting,” she adds. “Every gig feels like its own little adventure: one day it’s a penthouse in Vegas, the next it’s a glamorous birthday party, or somewhere on the road.”
The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” has named Travis as one of the city’s best impersonators. In addition to performing at over 2,000 weddings and receptions, he has performed in over 25 states across the country. He is also an ordained minister.
When Jessica watches him perform, she says her “inner fangirl comes out.”
“I’m incredibly proud of him, especially when he’s just learned a new song and nails it perfectly on stage,” she shares. “He performs every song with such skill and emotion that it still amazes me.
While he is “calm and reserved” off the stage, Jessica says he embodies the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll when the lights are bright.
“Under the lights, he’s magnetic, full of energy, and completely captivating,” she shares. “Then he’ll catch my eye and smile, and that’s the moment I see my husband again.”
However, she makes it clear that she loves both versions of Travis.
“A big misconception is that I’m only with Travis because he’s an Elvis tribute artist. The truth is, I see him 95% of the time without the jumpsuit or the look,” Jessica shares.
“I married the man behind the image, the person he is at home, when no one’s watching. That he happens to be Elvis on stage is just a fun bonus, especially because he sings for me offstage.”
Although people perceive Jessica’s life as glamorous, she notes that she left her sister and family in Switzerland to be with Travis, describing it as “one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made.”
“I miss my family every day,” she admits. “But what I found with him is true love, and I’ve always been someone who follows my heart.”
Travis and Jessica are now planning on “taking the show on the road,” that is, with Jessica joining the family business. She wants to combine their talents and bring her international background to Las Vegas, with Travis as Elvis and her potentially as Priscilla Presley.
But until then, she will continue to document her life behind the scenes.
