Xavier Worthy received a surprise when he met Taylor Swift on the field during the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship celebration.
“Oh s–t, taller than me,” the Chiefs wide receiver, 21, quipped in video footage circulating via X on Sunday, January 26, while friends and family flooded the field to congratulate the Chiefs on advancing to Super Bowl LIX next month.
In the clip, Swift, 35, can be seen standing behind Worthy, reveling in the moment after her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s team beat the Buffalo Bills 32-29 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Worthy, who is seen speaking to someone off-camera, appears taken aback by the pop star’s height.
For what it’s worth, Worthy is billed at 5-foot-10 on the Chiefs’ website, while Swift has been reported to be somewhere between 5-foot-10 and 5-foot-11.

Swift brought her whole family — parents Scott and Andrea and brother Austin — to Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on Kelce, 35, and the Chiefs during Sunday’s nail-biting game against the Bills.
After the Chiefs won the game and advanced to the Super Bowl in the process, Swift joined her man on the field to celebrate. The couple were spotted kissing and cuddling to mark the Chiefs’ achievement.

Social media footage captured Swift leaning into Kelce’s chest as the athlete wrapped a protective arm around the singer and briefly rested his chin against the top of her head.
Photos snapped on the field also caught the couple sharing a sweet kiss as Swift wrapped her hands around Kelce’s face.

Further X posts caught the lovebirds sharing adorable moments as celebratory confetti streamed around them. One user posted a moment from the game’s broadcast where Swift reached out to cup Kelce’s face within her hands as the pair beamed at one another.
The official NFL X account also shared footage of Kelce’s post-game speech, panning to Swift and Donna cheering him on from the on-field crowd.
Following Sunday’s victory, the Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9. The Chiefs will be hoping to win their third consecutive Super Bowl after defeating the Eagles in 2023 and the San Francisco 49ers in 2024.
