Zac Brown is making his red carpet debut with his new girlfriend, Kendra Scott.
The country star, 46, brought Scott, a jewelry designer, to the 2025 American Music Awards on Monday, May 26. The two were all smiles walking down the red carpet ahead of the ceremony, with Brown rocking a black suit and wide-brimmed black hat, while Scott, 51, shined in a silver gown.
Brown and his eponymous band were among the nominees for Favorite Country Duo or Group at the award show, which was held at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. (Dan + Shay wound up taking the win.)
Brown is in a new chapter of his life following his messy divorce from ex Kelly Yazdi.

The musician and Yazdi, a model and actor who previously worked for the Zac Brown Band, announced in December 2023 that they were separating after just four months of marriage.
“We are in the process of divorce. Our mutual respect for one another remains,” the exes shared in a statement at the time. “We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.”
Though the split appeared to be amicable on the surface, Brown filed a lawsuit against Yazdi, 34, in May 2024, demanding that she remove an Instagram post. According to the musician, her post allegedly broke a confidentiality agreement that she signed during their relationship. Brown sought an emergency temporary restraining order that would compel her to take down the social media post.
“After much deliberation, I took the steps necessary to enforce an agreement between us to maintain personal and business affairs in confidence and to protect my family from online harassment and speculation,” Brown told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “My only hope is for us to keep private matters private and to move forward with the mutual respect we had agreed to show one another when we parted ways.”

For her part, Yazdi responded to her ex’s lawsuit via Instagram.
“No one — not even Zac Brown with all of his money, power, celebrity, and lawyers may silence my right to freely express myself through art or, although I have to date declined to do so publicly, to speak about the circumstances of our pending divorce,” she wrote in a lengthy post.
She continued at the time, “I intend to respond swiftly and robustly to his meritless complaint that [the] publication of two poems on my personal social media account divulged any ‘confidential information’ about his business, much less authorizes a court to enjoin me from speaking about matters in my personal life that have nothing to do with my brief former work for the Zac Brown Collective, Inc.”
In August 2024, Yazdi took to social media and claimed that Brown had requested a divorce via Zoom, catching her off guard. At the time, a source exclusively told Us, “Kelly’s assertion that Zac told her unexpectedly over Zoom that he wanted a divorce is inaccurate.” The insider claimed, “Zac told her he wanted a divorce in person the night before Thanksgiving at his home in Georgia.”

A second source close to Brown’s family told Us that things had taken another turn in January 2024, alleging that Yazdi “showed up unannounced” at the singer’s house days after his divorce filing. Yazdi allegedly evaded security cameras “by parking her car out of sight and venturing through the woods.”
The second source claimed that Yazdi “still holds possession of [Brown’s] car and refuses to return it.”
Yazdi’s lawyers told Us in a statement last summer that it’s “logical” to infer that the allegations about their client’s alleged January actions “come from within [Brown’s] camp.” Yazdi’s attorneys alleged that the claims are “a designed PR effort launched as soon as Kelly broke her silence” in order to “intimidate her.”
Yazdi was Brown’s second marriage. He was previously married to his first wife, Shelly Brown, from whom he split in 2018 after 12 years of marriage and five children together.
