The apple doesn't fall from the tree for Zendaya and her mom.
In a new interview with Jennifer Hudson, the 29-year-old actress revealed how she influenced her mother Claire Stoermer to book it to the ink parlor.
"I convinced her to get her first tattoo at 50 years old," The Drama star revealed on The Jennifer Hudson Show during the Friday, April 3, episode. "I drew it for her and since then she calls me, like randomly, and she'll be getting a new tattoo."
The Emmy winner revealed that her mom is now hooked on getting tats, explaining, "She's covered now. She's like a walking piece of art."
Zendaya is no stranger to getting tattooed and does, in fact, have a tiny symbol dedicated to her significant other, Tom Holland. The ink is a small lowercase "T" located near her ribcage and was debuted at the 2025 Golden Globes last January, which is the same event where she also announced her engagement to her Spider-Man: Brand New Day costar.
A year after the exciting news was revealed, Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, hinted that the couple had already tied the knot in an interview with Etalk at the 2026 Actors Awards on March 1. However, he's since remained coy about the subject.
Neither Zendaya nor Holland has confirmed the legitimacy of Roach's statements, but Stoermer did react to her daughter's possible marriage on Instagram on March 2. She reposted the stylist's interview clip to her Instagram Stories, adding, "The laugh…"

While Zendaya's marital status is still unknown, she's been having fun in the bridal space while promoting her new film The Drama. Not only did she and Roach create a wardrobe following the age-old wedding tradition of a bride wearing "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" on the film's press tour, but Zendaya herself surprised an engaged fan at a wedding dress shopping appointment, which ended with the bride-to-be taking home her forever gown.
The Drama, which costars Robert Pattinson, is now in theaters.
