Zoe Saldaña Volunteers with Eaton Fire Victims on MLK Day: ‘The Support Is Incredible but We Need More’

Zoe Saldaña is helping those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.

The 46-year-old mom of three spent Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 20, helping volunteers in the Los Angeles communities of Pasadena and Altadena which were hit by the Eaton fire. And sharing a video of her efforts via Instagram, the star urged her followers to help, too.

In a video shared with her 11.2 million followers, Saldaña said, “We’re here at the Pasadena Job Center — I’m here with the team organizers. We are in dire need of a lot of items that are running out. The lines here of cars and people that are coming is incredible.”

She added, “The support is incredible, but we need more. So if you guys can help, we are here right now. Come you guys.”

Saldaña — who was wearing a mask while working alongside volunteers from the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) — then added that they were hoping for donations of canned food, [baby] formula, water and fresh produce.

The actress, who shares sons Cy, Bowie and Zen with her husband Marco Perego, isn’t the only famous face helping fire victims. Meghan Markle made a low-key visit to the Altadena Teen Girls Fire Recovery group on Jan. 13. She and Prince Harry also contributed to the organization through their Archewell Foundation.

Jay Leno delivered meals to first responders on his vintage fire truck and Jennifer Garner volunteered with World Central Kitchen to help distribute meals to first responders and displaced residents, while Vanessa Bryant, Demi Lovato, Miranda Kerr and Jessica Alba volunteered with Baby2Baby to help pack kits of needed hygiene items for displaced families.

Several celebrities have also helped those impacted by the blazes financially. Jamie Lee Curtis pledged $1 million from her family foundation for a wildfire relief efforts fund, Paris Hilton launched an emergency fund of $100,000 through her 11:11 Media nonprofit, and Eva Longoria will donate $1 million through her foundation to the Latino Community Fund and California Community Foundation.
