An 82-year-old man is dead after a heated argument with a 76-year-old man over a lounge chair on a Greek beach turned physical, and the 76-year-old and a young woman are now facing criminal charges.
Just before 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, the two elderly men began arguing over a lounge chair at a beach in Vouliagmeni, south of Athens, Greece, the BBC and the Greek newspaper Kathimerini report.
Witnesses said the 82-year-old man had reserved a lounge chair while waiting for other people to arrive, which apparently sparked the disagreement, according to the BBC.

As sunbathers looked on, screams from the altercation could reportedly be heard at the other end of the beach as the argument turned physical.
The 82-year-old man suffered cardiac arrest during the fight and collapsed on the beach, Kathimerini reports.
The man was rushed to a local hospital where he died shortly afterward.
The 76-year-old man was arrested and charged with causing fatal bodily harm, Kathimerini and the BBC report.
A 21-year-old woman who was with the 76-year-old man was arrested and charged with aiding and abetting fatal bodily harm and verbal abuse.
The woman, who had a swollen, bloody face, was later released, the BBC reports.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim or the suspects who were arrested.
