Four people have been injured after being struck by a falling tree during a storm at Six Flags Over Georgia.
The incident occurred on Sunday, July 5, near the front entrance of the Austell theme park after severe weather hit the area, according to Fox 5 Atlanta.
The injured individuals were taken to a local hospital to be checked over after first responders initially treated them at the scene, per the outlet.

Six Flags Over Georgia confirmed in a statement to WSB-TV's Channel 2 that medical staff and local EMS had responded to four guests who had been struck by a falling tree during “severe weather in the area.”
The statement added that the injured had been taken to a local hospital “for further evaluation.”
The individuals' conditions are not currently known, Atlanta News First reported. However, 11Alive stated that two people had suffered serious injuries during the incident.

Austell and Six Flags Over Georgia were among the multiple locations in the area affected by a severe thunderstorm warning on Sunday evening, per CBS News.
It's currently unknown how much structural damage the park suffered during the storm, or whether the team had to adjust the park's opening hours because of it, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
Park-goer Charles Smith told WSB-TV's Channel 2 that he and his wife had been waiting to see fireworks during ongoing Fourth of July celebrations when the storm moved in fast.
He explained to the outlet that he'd seen a young woman on the ground and a man with scrapes on his back after the tree fell.
“It was almost like a little tornado come through,” he recalled to the station, adding that no one really had any time to react because it all happened so fast.
A Six Flags Over Georgia spokesperson and the Austell City Clerk didn't immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE for comment.
