The wife of a man who was found dead over two decades ago has been arrested, according to police.
Lisa Honrud, 55, was arrested on Monday, April 20, on a murder warrant connected to the death of Frank Weiss, the Frisco Police Department confirmed in a press release.
Weiss was found dead near Lake Lewisville in Texas in 2002, per police. At the time of his death, he was married to Honrud.

Weiss was living in the city of Plano, just east of Lake Lewisville, when he died.
His daughter, Carla, was 22 years old when she lost her father, and the now 44-year-old told Fox 4 that she had mixed emotions over the news. "Hope is a funny thing," she said, "Hope has a way of strangling you, and so, at some point, I have probably accepted that there will never be an answer."
"But acceptance doesn't kill. I dreamed of there being an answer, but I didn't expect one."
At the time of her arrest, Honrud was a resident of Waxahachie, a city about 60 miles south of Lake Lewisville.
In a statement on the day of the arrest, Chief David Shilson of the Frisco Police Department thanked his colleagues as well as the Waxahachie Police Department for their work.
"For 24 years, the Weiss family has waited for answers," he said. "Today's arrest is an important step toward justice, and we will continue working until everyone involved is held accountable.”
Carla told Fox 4 that she was "so appreciative and grateful," but added that she doesn't believe Honrud acted on her own. She explained that her dad was a large man and thought it would have taken two people to carry out the act.
