I’m no stranger to being on a plane, and over the years, I’ve curated a wardrobe of travel clothes that stay comfortable and breathable even on the longest of journeys.
After taking multiple flights a year for over 20 years, I’ve realized the most important component of a cozy travel outfit is a good pair of pants. My biggest priority is that the pants need to not ride up uncomfortably or dig into my stomach while sitting for long periods of time — and luckily, Amazon’s fashion department has lots of pants styles that fit this criteria. Even better, I found breathable wide-leg styles, track pants I wear at least once a week, and linen pairs on sale under $30.

Since I’m not one to wear jeans on a plane, I usually opt for wide-leg sweatpants instead. I like that this pair is stylish enough to wear once you get off the plane and hit the town, and I can see them looking super cute with a pair of supportive sneakers and a plain white T-shirt. They also have an adjustable drawstring for a fit that always stays comfortable, as well as a cozy terry cloth interior that keeps your legs warm on cold flights.
Fisoew Loose Fit Track Pants

I bought these a few months ago, hoping to finally find a pair of track pants that didn’t feel stiff or too thick. These are the perfect pair for so many reasons; I love that they’re made of a super soft, breathable material that feels almost pajama-like. They also have a super flexible waistband that cinches the waist while never uncomfortably digging into the stomach — and I would know, since I wear them at least once per week.

Lomon Linen Palazzo Pants

I’ve been wanting a pair of pants as equally appropriate for a flight as a dinner date, and these are the ideal find. The breezy crepe material is comfortable and light, and I love the unique cropped hem on these that adds some fun texture to your outfit. I’m heading to Florida soon, and I plan on pairing these with a white tank top and Mary Janes to take from my flight right to lunch with my cousins.
