Anne Hathaway is all about method dressing.
On Monday, April 20, the actress, 43, appeared at the New York City premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in a very Andy Sachs-coded ensemble.
Hathaway stepped out in a custom Louis Vuitton gown by Nicolas Ghesquière, according to WWD. The red satin look featured a corseted bodice with a sweetheart neckline and pointed horns at the end of each side.
The bottom involved a voluminous tea-length skirt, which exposed Hathaway's matching open-toe heels.
For accessories, Hathaway wore a set of pink gold Bulgari jewels, including a sparkly wrap bracelet, dangling earrings, and a red cocktail ring, according to InStyle.

The actress has made multiple nods to her Devil Wears Prada character throughout the film's press tour — including rocking Andy's signature bangs.
In the 2006 film, Hathaway starred as Andrea “Andy” Sachs, a recent college graduate trying to find her footing in the world of journalism when she lands a job as a second assistant to Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly, a no-nonsense, legendary fashion editor at New York’s fictional Runway magazine.
“Making history and creating incredibly unique moments with @annehathaway👏🏼🌟 The Devil Wears Prada2️⃣👠♥️🔥‼️💣🧨,” Hathaway’s hair stylist, Orlando Pita, captioned an Instagram carousel on Wednesday, April 8.
In the first slide, the movie star sat in a chair as Pita puts the finishing touches on her bangs with longer pieces on the sides. Her hairstyle also featured an updo bun.
The photo carousel went on to feature Hathaway’s final look, an off-the-shoulder neutral top with exaggerated sleeves, paired with black leather pants by Vaquera, per Vogue.
Pita’s post also showed the Devil Wears Prada actress posing with her costar Meryl Streep as the pair did press for the sequel in Seoul, South Korea.

On the same day as the New York movie premiere, Hathaway was also named PEOPLE's World's Most Beautiful for 2026. In her cover story, she discussed returning to the world of fictional magazine Runway and touched on the impact the original movie had on her life.
"I loved making the first," Hathaway told PEOPLE. "I know I was stressed and anxious and all those things, but it’s one of the most hilarious experiences ever because of the people I was with."
She added, "Emily Blunt is such a dream of a human being. Stanley [Tucci] is so funny and quick, and Meryl [Streep], I don’t talk about how much I revere her to her, but I do. She’s someone I admire. Someone who defines how it’s done. Somebody who is just living greatness and never rests on that laurel but is always pushing herself to expand as an artist. She’s unbelievable."
