Office Romance is definitely NSFW.
The Netflix movie, which was released on the streamer on June 5, follows Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein as Jackie Cruz and Daniel Blanchflower, colleagues who try to ignore the romantic spark between them — but maybe not hard enough.
The actress told PEOPLE in May 2026 that her and Goldstein "had great chemistry to begin with," adding that it "grew" as they made the film together.
A few days before the movie's release, the costars appeared on Today, where host Savannah Guthrie asked the actors about real-life romance rumors between them.
"There's never a time when I'm seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don't try to put me with the person," Lopez responded, to which Goldstein joked, "I think if you stand near her, that's what happens. That's why I've been standing so close this whole time."
The pair confirmed that they are not dating, though a source told PEOPLE in May 2026 that their "flirty energy" is "genuine."

Jennifer Lopez

Lopez's character Jackie has a steamy workplace romance with her colleague Daniel (Goldstein) — but in real life, the actress is single.
The "On the Floor" singer has had several high-profile relationships over the years, including a nearly decade-long marriage with Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Max and Emme.
Following their split, she got engaged to Alex Rodriguez, though the pair called it quits in 2021. Lopez then reunited with her ex Ben Affleck — who she was engaged to in the early 2000s — and the pair got married in July 2022. She eventually filed for divorce from the actor in August 2024, and it was finalized the following January.

Goldstein, who stars as Daniel, is single in real life. The actor's last public relationship was with Beth Rylance, though they have quietly split.
Goldstein, who co-wrote Office Romance with Joe Kelly, told PEOPLE that they penned the script and Jackie's role with Lopez in mind.
"It's easy to write a rom-com when you have JLo in mind," he said. "She's the best at this stuff. We just wanted to write something funny and smart enough to be worthy of her saying yes."
Meanwhile, Lopez told The Hollywood Reporter that Goldstein has become her "No. 1" costar in the rom-com genre.

Betty Gilpin, who portrays Sydney Bloom, is married to actor, director and nurse Cosmo Pfeil.
The couple met while working on the set of 2009's The Northern Kingdom, in which they played on-screen siblings. They tied the knot in 2016 and now share two children.

For Bradley Whitford — who plays lawyer Peter Vance — and his wife Amy Landecker, it was not exactly love at first sight.
"I knew Bradley for a year before we dated and I kind of thought that he seemed like a cocky actor boy and I wasn’t really that interested,” Landecker told PEOPLE in January 2016. "Now I’ve learned that If I don’t like someone at first, that’s probably a sign that they’re perfect for me because my taste is so bad."
They have shared the screen several times, including in Transparent and The Handmaid's Tale, in which she guest-starred in one episode. After the couple wed in July 2019, Whitford announced the news of their nuptials in a cheeky post on X.

Tony Hale and Martel Thompson

Tony Hale — who joins the Office Romance cast as HR director George Dudek — married his wife Martel Thompson in 2003.
During a June 2024 conversation with PEOPLE, Hale shared that there's one common relationship rule that they don't follow.
"We don't really follow the model of 'Don't go to bed angry.' Sometimes we go to bed angry," he said.
"To us, it's healthy coming back together and being like, 'Man, I'm really sorry about that,' " the actor continued. "Because you're thinking more clearly. In a very heightened state you're just not thinking clearly. So when things get tough, we take an hour or two just to separate, and then come back together and have a discussion about it."
Hale added that the main reason for their long-term success is that Thompson, a makeup artist, is his "best friend."
They share one child, daughter Loy Ann.

Will Sasso's character Larry is still figuring things out in his romantic life. But in real life, the actor is married to Molly Sasso.
She shared in an Instagram post that they met in 2019 and eloped in 2022.
