Belmont Cameli’s girlfriend is pleading with fans to leave her family alone.
TV writer Raina Morris has been dating the Off Campus star for the last year, and following the massive success of the Prime Video series, she’s found herself in the spotlight alongside Cameli, 28.
She shared two messages with fans of the show on her Instagram Stories on July 14, both of which asked that they refrain from reaching out to her family members.
“If you are a fan of my boyfriend: Yay!” she wrote in the first post. “Please stop messaging my family members. They are so confused.”

“Write it in your diary and then go on a walk instead! Love u,” she wrote.
In a second post, she shared a meme of Gillian Jacobs in Community, referencing a line from the show where her character said, “I can excuse racism, but I draw the line at animal cruelty.” In Morris’ post, she changed it to read: “I can excuse racism, but I draw the line at DMing my distant cousins.”
Morris has spoken out a few times to address and clarify things after Off Campus fans began following her social media accounts. In May, when fans noticed that she had unfollowed Ella Bright, who played Cameli’s love interest in the series, she shared a screenshot of her texts with the actress and confirmed it was an accident. “I hope TMZ doesn’t notice,” she joked.
“Leave me and my homegirl alone,” Morris wrote in a selfie on her Instagram Stories, per a fan page, which Bright commented on. “Please and thank you that’s my best friend.”
Earlier this month, Bright, 19, spoke about her friendship with Morris on an episode of In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele.
She described the TV writer as “perfect and beautiful” and said she’s “my angel on Earth.”

While addressing fan speculation about her and Cameli being romantically involved off-screen, Bright said: ‘I totally get it, but it is so weird.’
She described Cameli as “literally my brother,” and said that she hasn’t “seen that much” of the fan discourse around their dynamic herself, but she knows it’s out there. “I love him so much, but yeah, it’s very funny.”

While setting the record straight, the actress explained that her relationship with Cameli is strictly platonic.
“We have so much fun together. He’s the greatest,” Bright told PEOPLE of her costar ahead of the show’s release.
“[We] met at the chemistry reads, we got each other’s numbers and we’ve just been friends ever since. I mean, when you spend that much time with someone on set — we’d have like 15, 16-hour days — you have to be just the best of friends,” she said. “I really look up to him a lot.”
