Sahra Brandt, a certified denim specialist and stylist, tells me these are the “it” silhouette for fall that “perfectly encapsulates the casual-cool aesthetic.”

Brandt predicts that barrel styles will become the “new skinny jeans,” meaning most people will own a few pairs that they cycle through. That’s why I’m eyeing this unique two-tone version with slanted front pockets. They stand out against the rest of the jeans in my closet without being too busy to wear casually.
