Influencer Melissa Becraft is a mom!
The professional dancer announced on Sunday, Sept. 20, that she and her husband Luis have welcomed a baby boy.
“He’s here!!! 🩵🍼👼🏻 a moment that in January felt so far away. We are so so so happy,” the 11 to Midnight performer shared in an Instagram post set to a song from Hamilton.
Becraft then shared a passage from the Bible that read, “‘For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.’ Psalms 139:13-14.”

The post featured a video of Becraft and her husband looking excitedly at a phone together as they found out the gender of gender of their baby. “It’s a boy!” Luis said as the couple hugged and the words “It’s only a matter of…” were written above them.
The clip then switched to the couple in the hospital as Luis cradled their son and Becraft kissed him adoringly while the word “Time” flashed up.
The infant was dressed in a beige outfit with a cream beanie and matching booties as his dad also planted a kiss on his face.
“Congrats beauty 🔥🔥🔥,” wrote Glee alum Heather Morris in the comments section, while So You Think You Can Dance star Alex Wong added, “CONGRATULATIONS!!!”
The couple did not reveal the name of their little one or the date he was born in the post.

Becraft announced that she and Luis were expecting their first child in an Instagram video posted back in April of her dancing to Justin Bieber‘s “Baby.”
The video began with a series of screenshots of comments on a previous video where her followers were guessing that she was pregnant because of the song she had used for the Instagram video — Connie Francis’ “Baby.”
Her announcement video saw her showing off her dance moves as Luis walked into the frame and joined in, before spinning her around and pulling out a collection of ultrasound images.
“SURPRISE! Been dancing through a pregnancy this year! We are SO excited! 🍼 Baby coming September! (Hoping for a redhead🇧🇷🇺🇸😂),” she captioned the post.
Becraft and Luis, who are high school sweethearts, married in September 2017, according to her previous Instagram posts. They met in Greenville, S.C., and had a long-distance relationship while Luis went to college and Becraft pursued dance in New York City.
