The Wembanyamas practically have a team of basketball players — and the family roster includes Victor Wembanyama's older sister Eve.
The daughter of Félix Wembanyama and Elodie de Fautereau, Eve was born in 2001, followed shortly by brothers Victor in 2004 and Oscar in 2007.
Victor isn't the only basketballer in the Wembanyama family: The San Antonio Spurs star's sister also plays the sport. "There is too little talk about my sister," her younger brother Oscar told Euroleague Basketball in February 2023.
“I watch all of her games, and there are things that inspire me about her, especially the intensity that she puts on the floor,” he added. “She is incredible."
As for who would win between her and Victor? “Me,” Eve said in a September 2023 FIBA 3×3 TikTok. “Yeah. I think overtime. Overtime. He will be mad.”

The Wembanyama siblings got their athleticism from their parents. Eve's mother, Elodie, was a professional basketball player and her dad, Félix, was a competitive long jumper, Victor told Good Morning America in June 2023.
Speaking to Slam in October 2022, Victor shared, “Dad gave me the passion for knowing subjects in depth," adding that his father taught him proper running technique.
"Being a real technician of sports, of whatever I do," he continued.

Eve followed in her mother's footsteps. Victor's sister competed in the FIBA U20 Women's European Challengers in 2021 and the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship in 2017, which France won.
She's also played for the Monaco Basket Association and Côte d'Opale Basket Calais teams. She currently plays in the FIBA 3×3 league.
Although basketball is in her blood, Eve wasn't influenced by her parents to play the sport. In her September 2023 FIBA 3×3 TikTok, Eve said that she chose “basketball because it was the one I was [the] best at and the one I liked the most.”

“We're all so proud. We're very happy for you,” Eve told Victor on his big night during an emotional group interview with ESPN.

“I'm just proud of my brother,” Eve said, adding, “My two brothers.”
