“No, not currently,” she said. “But we’re still very good friends.”
However, that doesn’t mean that she’s given up on her happy ending.
“I believe in love. I definitely want that in my life,” she said with a smile.
For now, she’s focused on becoming the best version of herself while raising her 7-year-old son Elvis, whom she shares with her late husband.
PEOPLE reached out to Kloots’ reps for comment.
The Good Grief Podcast host and Gimelstob made their red carpet debut in April 2025 at the An Unforgettable Evening event, held in support of breast cancer research.
At the time, she exclusively told PEOPLE that the “very new” relationship had “been absolutely lovely.”
Gimelstob joined in, telling PEOPLE his hope was that they “never leave” the “courting” phase that she’d just referred to.
“I was admiring her, well before she gave me a shot,” he said, playfully claiming that seeing her at a Formula 1 race in Las Vegas was their first date. However, she confirmed the pair didn’t officially go out until around a year and a half later.
Kloots added that she was pleased that her relationship with Gimelstob “happened very naturally.”
“She’s just an incredibly special person,” Gimelstob added of the Emmy-nominated host.
“Obviously, she’s physically beautiful, but the way she handles everything. She’s so classy and has so much grace and is an amazing mother,” he continued. “She cares about people. She’s generous in spirit. She has a beautiful energy and is an amazing athlete. I mean, I could keep going and going.”
