Howard Stern is reminding Andy Cohen to not “screw it up” as they announce a major radio change.

On Tuesday, Sept. 1, the two hosts announced that Cohen, 58, will be taking over one of Stern’s longtime SiriusXM channels, Howard 101. The channel will now be home to Cohen’s Radio Andy universe of shows, with Stern still holding down Channel 100.

The announcement comes one day after Sirius XM announced The Howard Stern Show would return for its new season on Sept. 14, with Stern, 72, also inking a deal with HBO Max to bring his episodes to screens.

“Howard, you wise guy. Last year, we pranked the world. We made everybody think that I was taking over Howard 100. It was the best morning. Now, the carrot is being dangled. Radio Andy will be taking over 101. Is this a prank? Am I being pranked?”

“No, you are not being pranked,” Stern replied. “And Andy has been gracious enough to take over 101 and I have one request: Please continue the tradition of doing a lot of gay antics.”

Cohen then insisted that Stern’s show was “gayer than mine,” as Stern encouraged him to “up the gay” on his channel.

Even with the latest SiriusXM switch-up, Stern told Cohen that he was “not giving up” Channel 100. “But I feel Howard 101 is in very capable hands. Enjoy it, take good care of it,” he said. “And if you blow it, I will be the first one to laugh at you. Don’t screw it up.”

With the latest move, Sebastian Maniscalco’s Comedy Radio will now reside on Radio Andy’s former home of Channel 102, per SiriusXM.

Cohen and Stern pranked fans back in September 2025, when Cohen briefly hijacked Howard 100, called it “Andy 100” and claimed there was “a lot of talk about what’s gonna happen with Howard,” including whether he’d been “fired.” About 10 minutes later, Stern jumped on the airwaves to reveal he “masterminded” the bit.

HBO Max and SiriusXM announced on Monday, Aug. 31 that they teamed up to release weekly filmed episodes of Stern’s talk show, debuting on the new platform on Sept. 17. Episodes are set to release each Thursday.

“As the ‘King of All Media,’ I am honored to bring my SiriusXM show to HBO Max, and through HBO Max to worldwide distribution. For years, my SiriusXM show has offered only brief video peeks,” Stern said in a statement. “HBO convinced me to pull back the curtain and let the world watch the amazing celebrities and musicians who drop by, our staff antics, and my conversations with Robin [Quivers].”

He added, “Bringing my latest SiriusXM shows to HBO Max’s millions of viewers every week is a career highlight, and I’m thrilled to be joining the ranks of such prestigious television.”

In a separate statement, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max Content Casey Bloys sad Stern “has always been in a category of his own with an unmistakable, unique take on the world. Howard has changed radio and media at large with his ability to draw the most out of his guests and cultivate a following like no other.”
