When it comes to making love last, it’s all about the little things — at least, according to Adam Sandler.
The Happy Gilmore 2 star officiated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, and shared some wisdom with the happy couple and their guests, including Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
At an event in Salt Lake City on Sunday, July 5, Reid, 68, joked that Sandler, 59, is “crazy,” but was "phenomenal" and “did a great job” marrying the couple “with a lot of humor.”
“Adam Sandler conducted the service there and he told me, ‘Keep kissing.’ In its simplest form. That’s a good thing,” Reid said, according to The Deseret News. “It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss… And make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to. Knock it out, and you won’t have any problems.”

Reid’s wife Tammy, to whom he’s been married since 1981, chimed in to say that Reid already heeds the advice: “He does that,” she said.
Sandler is a solid person to offer advice, as he’s been married to his wife Jackie, 51, since 2003. They share daughters Sunny, 17, and Sadie, 20.
Swift and Kelce, both 36, tied the knot after three years of dating. An insider told PEOPLE that the night’s festivities included performances from Paul McCartney, who performed the Beatles hit “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” and Stevie Nicks.
Sandler has sung the couple’s praises in the past. He told Extra in July 2025 that both he and his daughters “love Taylor,” and they’re all big fans of her music.
That same month, he told Entertainment Tonight that Kelce, who has a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2, is a “stud,” as well as a “great actor and a great human being.”
"Travis is such a gentle, nice guy, and funny as hell. He’s like the guys I grew up with,” he said. “When I was with Travis, it reminded me of my buddies in high school and just being able to laugh and say the things you want to say."
