Bee Shaffer, the daughter of Anna Wintour, and Francesco Carrozzini have split after nearly eight years of marriage.
Bee, 38, and the Italian film director, 43, confirmed their separation and cited different "career paths" in a statement shared with Page Six on Friday, May 15.
“After 10 wonderful years together, we have decided to separate,” said the couple, who share a 4-year-old son, Oliver Sozzani.
“Although our career paths led us in different directions, we remain the very best of friends and devoted, committed parents to our son,” they continued. “This is the only statement we will make, and we respectfully ask for privacy.”
As of Saturday, May 16, Bee's full name is still listed as Bee Carrozzini on her Instagram account.

A rep for Carrozzini did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Saturday, May 16. A rep for Bee could not be reached.
Bee, a television and theater producer, is one of two children Wintour shares with her ex-husband, physician David Shaffer. The 76-year-old global editorial director of Vogue also shares son Charles Shaffer with David, who died in 2023 at age 87.
News of Bee's split from Carrozzini — who is the son of the late Franca Sozzani, who served as Vogue Italia's editor-in-chief — comes less than two weeks after the pair posed together at the 2026 Met Gala, for which her mother is the lead chairperson, on Monday, May 4.
The news also comes after Bee made a public appearance last month. She stepped out with Wintour, as well as her sister-in-law Elizabeth Cordry Shaffer, at the New York City premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 on April 20.

Bee and Carrozzini wed in an intimate celebration at Wintour's weekend home in Mastic, N.Y., in July 2018. (The former Vogue editor-in-chief's son Charles, 40, and his wife, Elizabeth, also tied the knot at Wintour's Long Island estate in 2014.)
Details about Bee and Carrozzini's initial 2018 wedding ceremony were scarce, as all phones were confiscated from guests and there was a social media ban at the couple's nuptials, Page Six reported at the time.
Not long after, the producer and filmmaker later said “I do” in a second wedding ceremony in Portofino, Italy. PEOPLE later confirmed in July 2021 that Bee was pregnant, and she and Carrozzini welcomed son Oliver that October.
Bee and Carrozzini first confirmed their engagement to PEOPLE in March 2017, and two months later, the producer showed off her engagement ring for the first time on the Met Gala red carpet.
