Ashley Graham’s 2025 Met Gala look was even slicker than it looked.
The model, who attended the costume ball in New York City May 5 wearing a gray pinstripe suit dress, revealed she added a subtle accessory to her ensemble moments before heading to the Metropolitan Museum of Art due to an unexpected incident involving mint oil.
“I would say my only regret is that I didn’t have more brooches,” she wrote in a post on her Substack May 22. “The reason I even had one brooch is because of my last-minute oil spill.”
Once the damage was done, Ashley—who shares kids Isaac, 5, and twins Malachi and Roman, 3, with husband Justin Ervin—scrambled with her team to resolve the matter.
“I yanked my shoes on and we ran downstairs (the elevator stopped working!) and tried our best to get it out,” she explained. “But sure enough, we all realized there’s nothing that’s going to help, except for some Dawn and a dry cleaner possibly.”
