Bethenny Frankel is making a major move.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum, 54, announced on TikTok Thursday, April 17, she and her daughter Bryn Hoppy are moving from the Big Apple to Florida for good.
“I’ve been waiting until I got down here to tell you, but I am moving to Florida for personal and professional reasons,” said Frankel. “Something has arisen that made this the best and healthiest decision for myself and my daughter.”
Frankel shares Bryn, 14, with her former husband Jason Hoppy.
She explained that she and Bryn will “maintain residences” in New York City and The Hamptons “because we love New York,” however, Florida will now serve as their “primary and permanent” home base.
She then told her 2.8 million followers, “I’ll let you know more soon,” before showing off a view from the beach.
“This will be my backyard,” said Frankel.

Frankel’s announcement comes five months after she went Instagram official with boyfriend Tom Villante.
She posted a video of him on the social media platform for the first time on Nov. 23.
In the clip, Frankel snuggles up with a cozy blanket while Villante is seen working on a fireplace in the background.
“POV: he buys you a luxury heated throw & builds a fire while you sip on an overpriced latte…” Frankel wrote over the clip. She added the caption, “Because #imworthit #andmyman #thankyoutomyman #weekend.”

Last month, Frankel opened up about her love life on an episode of Alix Earle’s Hot Mess podcast.
“I’ve been dating,” she said at the time. “I don’t know what it was like when you started dating and you were public. People think because you’re photographed with one person that you’re all of a sudden married again or engaged again.”
She later confessed that she has learned to take things slow.
“I have always sort of wanted to know exactly what everything is, and I’m trying to let the wine breathe more versus need to know what it is,” she said.
