Bill Belichick and girlfriend Jordon Hudson are having fun with food!
On Saturday, April 19, Hudson, the 24-year-old Maine native posted on Instagram to show off the couple’s “lobster dinner,” which, upon closer inspection, did not include any lobster at all.
The former cheerleader — who has been dating the college football coach, 73, for over two years — first posted the snap of their crustacean-inspired dessert on her Instagram Stories.
The photo shows that the “lobster” is actually a bunch of strawberries, which were expertly sliced and placed together to resemble the body of the red critter from tip to tail, including claws, antennae and the anatomically correct number of legs: five pairs.
In place of potatoes and butter, the strawberry lobster was served up on a plate with vanilla ice cream and a lemon slice.
Hudson did not include herself in the snap — just her plate — but Belichick was visible with his own sweet, sea-inspired treat in the background.
The UNC-Chapel Hill head football coach (who was repping another college, Iowa, with his sweatshirt) appeared to enjoy the edible creation, digging into the uniquely plated berries and ice cream with a fork.
“Lobster Dinner 🦞❤️🥁🤣,” Hudson captioned the Stories post and, after also posting the food snap to her Instagram feed, added, “Evah had Lobstah Dinnah in Bah Hahbah ?”
The former New England Patriots coach and the former cheerleader — who reportedly met on a flight in February 2021, per TMZ — were first romantically linked when they were spotted out and about in January 2023.
The couple were seen walking through New Orleans’ French Quarter together, and later that fall, were spotted in the city again, this time on a dinner date. The couple officially went public with their romance in June 2024 and, six months later, made their red carpet debut at a gala for the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Shortly after the pair made their official debut, an insider told PEOPLE that as Belichick prepared to transition into his current coaching role, the couple’s relationship remains strong.
“Bill will put his all into the new coaching job, which he is very excited about,” the source said. “But Jordon is also a busy woman with a lot going on. So I don’t see this doing anything but enhancing their solid relationship.”
At the time, a second source close to Belichick said the relationship with Hudson is serious, but also that they have no immediate plans for marriage.
“I think Bill is not in a rush to marry again at this time in general,” the source told PEOPLE. “Now that he will be coaching that is at the top of his list. He needed to get back to work. He has an above ideal situation for his experience and personality.”
