A bride's father-in-law "brought the vibes" with his impressive moves on the dance floor at her wedding.

During Honor and Harper Bisagno's reception on May 9, the couple stepped away briefly to take some photos outside of their venue, Nashville's Union Station. When they returned, they noticed a large crowd of their wedding guests all circled around the center of the dance floor.

"We went over to see what the commotion was about, and that’s when we found my father-in-law mid-splits," Honor recalls to PEOPLE.

The 24-year-old architectural designer shared a video of the wild moment on TikTok, showing 60-year-old Tony Bisagno executing a flawless split on the checkered dance floor as other guests looked on with awe. "HE BROUGHT THE VIBES!!!!!!! So lucky to have the best new family!!!!!" she captioned the clip.

"Everyone was laughing so hard, and it seemed to have come out of nowhere by the reactions from everyone else in the circle," Honor tells PEOPLE. "I had no idea he could do the splits, and was amazed at his flexibility."

Tony says it's all down to his years of practicing yoga.

“I’ve developed some pretty decent flexibility from my yoga routine, and thought, 'What better time to put that flexibility to use,' " he tells PEOPLE.

According to Honor, Tony, who works in sales, wakes up "at the crack of dawn" at least once a week to join some friends at a local hot yoga studio, "which has led to his extreme flexibility and nimbleness, something he is very proud of."

She says she's not surprised that Tony stole the show at her wedding reception, as he is well-known for his "fun-loving" personality.

"While he is not one to typically 'go all out' on the dance floor, he can be a bit unpredictable at times, which can lead to all kinds of hilarious and unforgettable moments, such as repeatedly doing the splits to entertain family and friends," she says.

His energy on the dance floor proved infectious, as others were inspired to get in on the fun.

"Soon after the splits, there were several others who tried to keep up what my father-in-law had started," Honor recalls. "Charlie, my 8-year-old cousin-in-law, was soon found doing the worm in the middle of the dance floor. Garrett, my 11-year-old cousin, was breakdancing. Asa, my younger brother, soon found himself on the ground, trying to match Charlie’s moves, but couldn’t keep up. Claudia, one of my bridesmaids, fell to her knees laughing with tears while watching it all unfold."

Honor says videos of Tony doing splits began circulating around the wedding reception, giving those who missed the spectacle a chance to see it. "But I am also pretty sure that by the end of the night, most of the guests had seen the splits in person anyway because the initial splits were the first of many throughout the night," she jokes.

The video of Tony was "an instant hit" on social media.

"There were comments about how people’s jaws dropped after watching the video, as well as people being confused at how he was able to do such a flexible split," Honor says.

Tony's dance moves stand out as a favorite wedding memory for Honor and Harper.

"We are fairly unserious people, so it not only made the night, but it also reminded us to enjoy the moment and all the people who traveled to be with us and celebrate," the new bride says.

It seems Harper, a 25-year-old musician and law student, has inherited a little of his dad's spontaneous, fun-loving ways as he joined in with the musical entertainment several times during the wedding reception. He kicked off the newlyweds' entrance into the celebration by playing a Tyler Childers song on the banjo with a friend, and then ended the night "jamming out" to George Strait’s “The Fireman" with his old college band members.

"My husband definitely has a very fun side to him and is not afraid to let loose when he has fun, especially when there’s good live music," Honor says.

As for Harper emulating Tony's dance skills, however, his wife says, "Sadly, I don’t think it’s possible for him to follow in his dad’s footsteps of repeatedly doing the splits since he is not as flexible."
