Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Have Date Night at Airbnb Party Amid Family Drama

Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz had a date night at a starry Airbnb bash amid their family drama.

Brooklyn, 26, was photographed kissing his wife’s cheek during the company’s launch in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 13. He projected casual chic in a black shirt, black pants and white backwards hat, while Peltz, 30, donned a sleek black halter top and pants. 

That night, Airbnb launched its “Star-Studded Experiences and Services,” in which Brooklyn and other celebrities host “curated” bookings. According to Page Six, Brooklyn will “be doing mixology and chef tastings” for an experience this summer.

Other celebs at the party included Jessica Alba, Kevin Costner, Gabrielle Union, Christina Aguilera and Shailene Woodley and Lucas Bravo. 

While Brooklyn and Nicola were all smiles on Tuesday, a rift deepens within the Beckham family. It largely centers around the tense relationship between Nicola and Brooklyn’s mother, Victoria Beckham.

A source exclusively told Us Weekly on May 8 that there’s been “bad blood” since before Nicola and Brooklyn got married in April 2022.

“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” the source explained. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”

The insider added: “He completely supports and stands by Nicola, and it has put a rift in his relationship with his parents. Nicola is outspoken and that is what has caused tension with his parents. She will defend Brooklyn a lot and is defensive. Brooklyn will always be on Nicola’s side, and that’s made things even more tense between him and his parents.”

Brooklyn was noticeably absent during his father David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration earlier this month.

A source exclusively told Us at the time that Brooklyn and Nicola have demanded “special treatment” from David and Victoria, which stems from resentment toward Kim Turnbull, the girlfriend of Brooklyn’s younger brother, Romeo Beckham. 

“David and Victoria are over it,” the source said. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing.”

The source confirmed that Brooklyn and Nicola requested a “separate meet-up” with David surrounding his birthday, but the family turned down their suggestion.

“David and Victoria just want to treat everyone the same and approach life like a family and the family does things a certain way,” the source explained. “But Brooklyn isn’t playing it like that, and everything is a drama.”

David’s birthday blowout was attended by Victoria, 51, Romeo, 22, Kim, 24, and the Beckhams’ two youngest kids: son Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 13. 

While David tagged Brooklyn in a Mother’s Day tribute to Victoria on Instagram, Peltz paid tribute to her own mom, Claudia Heffner, but did not acknowledge her mother-in-law on the holiday.

“Happy mother’s day to my queen 🤍,”  Nicola wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, May 11. “You’re my world mom and I [can’t] believe how lucky I am that I get to be your daughter. You’re the most beautiful human inside and out I’ve ever met — you’re my role model in every way.”
