Brooks Nader is embracing everything about her role in the new Baywatch reboot, including getting to do the famous slow-motion run along the beach.
The model appeared at The Daily Front Row's 10th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards at the Beverly Hills Hotel in California on Tues., April 14, where she revealed she has nothing but love for the series.
"I only run in slow-mo," Nader, 29, joked in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. "I don't run in normal motion anymore. That's my new personality, is running in slow-mo."

All jokes aside, Nader has always looked up to original Baywatch cast members like Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra, so she was fully prepared for her turn as a lifeguard.
"I've been doing this since I was like two years old," Nader said. "I've been ready for this. I'm like, 'I got this.' I've been watching the videos of Pam and Carmen Electra. I'm ready for this."
"I've been doing this in my mirror since I was like 10 years old. You know what I mean? So you'll like my run," she added.
Nader also said that it was such an "out-of-body experience" to put on the classic red bathing suit for the first time, that "even the wardrobe people" were crying.
"They were like, 'This is so big and this is so exciting.' And I feel like the energy with the cast and the crew and everybody involved is just spectacular and everyone's so excited to see it all come to life. I think everyone's going to love the show and everyone's working really hard. So it's exciting," she said.
Nader's modeling career launched after she won the 2019 Swim Search for Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue. She went on to appear in the magazine again in 2020, 2021 and 2022, before gracing the cover in 2023 alongside Martha Stewart, Megan Fox and Kim Petras.
Outside of modeling, Nader competed on season 33 of Dancing with the Stars. She and her dance partner, Gleb Savchenko, made it to ninth place in the show. The two dated briefly before breaking up in 2025.

She has since been linked to Taron Egerton, and the pair was spotted on a romantic outing on March 28. A source told PEOPLE that they have been on "multiple dates."
"She likes hanging out with him,” the source said. “She's just enjoying it for what it is, but she's definitely into him.”
Outside of her dating life, she has continued to set her sights on television. Nader's Freeform reality series, Love Thy Nader, premiered in August 2025 and has since been renewed for a second season.
The 12-episode reboot of Baywatch is slated to premiere either later this year or early next year, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Alongside Nader, the cast includes Livvy Dunne, Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck, Stephen Amell and more.

She is playing Selene, described by Fox as "the sharp-tongued Captain of the Zuma beach lifeguards.”
“While [Selene] is excellent at her job, she and Baywatch Captain Hobie Buchannon have a very different approach to saving lives that is a constant source of friction," her character's bio reads. “Never on good terms, their relationship only goes downhill after Hobie brings his daughter Charlie onto his team… and it becomes clear that their rivalry goes much deeper than lifeguarding."
