Camille Kostek knows that best as the longtime girlfriend of retired New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski, whom she opened up about on PEOPLE's WAG World series when chatting about Gronk's bond with former teammate Tom Brady.
As a former member of the New England franchise as a cheerleader for the team, Kostek, 34, reflected on the unique perspective she had from within the inner circle of the Patriots dynasty largely shaped by the aforementioned dynamic duo on the field.

"Tom and Rob are forever the GOATs. I think that they really, really are a dynamic duo that will be remembered for the rest of time," she tells WAG World host Skyler Caruso of Brady, 48, and Gronkowski, 37, in the premiere episode released on Thursday, May 28.
"The two of them on the field are a power duo and the two of them off the field are just boys," she adds with a laugh. "They're just boys. Honestly, when they spend time and they just throw the ball together, I'm not going with Rob to Tom's house. Rob will be like, 'I'm going to throw with Tom!' "
Kostek was a Patriots cheerleader for two seasons, landing a spot on the iconic squad at age 21 in 2013 after three tryout attempts. She concluded her cheer stint with the 2014 NFL season, ending it on a high when New England defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in the Super Bowl.
"Oh my gosh. Being a part of the dynasty was really cool," she says in hindsight. "Obviously we knew how much fun we were having at the time. When I say we, I mean myself and the Patriots cheerleaders."

"Being able to say we have Super Bowl rings, we have them on pendants, us girls," she shares. "We knew it was fun, but we didn't know how good we had it. We were living through history. We were witnessing history."
Kostek, in fact, met Gronkowski when she was on the team — it's where their love story began! The pair met at a Thanksgiving charity event in November 2013, but had to keep their romance a "secret" for two years due to team rules (the tight end slipped her a sticker with his number on the back).
While their relationship remains strong as a couple, Kostek made clear that Gronkowski's friendship with Brady hasn't changed from their suited-up time together on the field. In fact, she shared insight on what they're really like away from it.
"I see them on FaceTime calls. I hear them talk on the phone. They're so funny," she says. "They love to laugh. It's so cool to see the buttoned up versions of them that do press conferences… But then to see relaxed Tom and Rob, they're fun."

With a laugh, Kostek clarified, "Well, I don't know if Rob has a button up version. He truly is himself." Ultimately, she says she lets the "boys be boys."
"If Vivi's there, I'll hang out with her," she adds of Brady's 13-year-old daughter, Vivian Lake, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen. (He also shares son Benjamin Rein, 16, with the supermodel, and son son John "Jack" Edward Thomas, 18, with his ex, Bridget Moynahan).
Gronkowski has won four Super Bowl titles with Brady between the time he was selected in the 2010 NFL Draft until retirement, which he did a few times.

March 2019 marked the tight end's first retirement before returning to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers alongside Brady in April 2020. He hung up his jersey for a second time in June 2022, and then signed a one-day contract with the Patriots in November 2025.
The dynamic duo's playful bond today, along with their friendship with former teammates, is what Kostek names "the best part about" retirement.

"I think we were in the Bahamas," she recalls of Gronkowski and Brady's memorable reunion, sharing, "and the guys were throwing the ball on the beach, like Jules [Edelman], Danny [Amendola], Tom, Rob and a bunch of their friends and Tom's college friends growing up."
"This is so silly to say, but I often forget how internationally known Rob is… because they're just guys," she says. "They're just, I don't want to say normal, because obviously they live these crazy lives, but behind the scenes they're just like you and me."
