Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton is working his magic on QVC guest host and businesswoman Toni Brattin by giving her a transformative blowout.
Earlier this month, the Toni Brattin & Co. founder, 66, was promoting one of her signature “Hair Fabulous” line of wigs live on QVC when she accidentally made a not safe for work (NSFW) reference.
“I love to show the texture and this wave pattern,” she said while shaking out her wig in a clip shared on Instagram. “Again it looks like you went and got a blow job at your…”
She paused for a brief moment before correcting herself: “… a blowout at your salon.” She could then be heard saying quietly under her breath, “Oh, my God,” before saying at full volume, “And it looks beautiful.”
Brattin then started laughing as the QVC host took over and informed TV viewers that there was “a huge beauty sale” happening.
Now, Appleton, 43, and Brattin are poking fun at the viral moment. The duo teamed up so that the hairstylist could give Brattin a proper blowout — while jokingly giving her a lesson on the terminology.
“Chris, it’s just one little mistake,” Brattin tells Appleton in a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 18.
“But Toni, it’s a pretty viral mistake,” the hairstylist replies, before launching into a lesson on correctly pronouncing “blowout.”
In another clip posted the same day, Appleton tells Brattin, “Why don’t we give your real hair the blowout it deserves?” before removing her short wig and revealing her shoulder-length blonde hair.
He then applies Color Wow mousse before blow-drying Brattin’s hair.
“Blown away,” she declares at the final, bouncy result.
“Who knew she had all this hair,” Appleton wrote in the caption. “Time for a real salon blow out 💨.”

On the second post, many users commented on Brattin’s natural hair under her wig.
“Ok she has stunning hair hiding under that wig!!” one wrote.
“Why would she hide that hair???” another added.
