Celebrity hairstylist Jenn Lagron was hit by a drunk driver while walking and now suffers “devastating injuries.”
On Sunday, April 27, Kristin Juszczyk took to social media to share the terrible news and the link to Lagron’s GoFundMe.
“My girl @jennlagron was hit by a drunk driver last night. Sick to my stomach,” Juszczyk, 31, wrote via Instagram Story along with a clip of Lagron doing her hair. “She is the most amazing person and incredibly talented hair artist. She’s going to have a long road to recovery so truly anything will help.”
According to Largron’s GoFundMe, set up by her friend Brandon Pietsch, Lagron was hit on Sunday and now has several injuries “including a severely damaged arm” which she “relies on for her career as a hairstylist.”

“While we are endlessly grateful that Jenn survived, her road to recovery will be long and incredibly difficult,” the GoFundMe website reads. “Doctors anticipate at least a year of rehabilitation ahead, during which she will be unable to work or support herself. Jenn has always been a light in the lives of everyone around her full of heart, creativity, and kindness.”
Lagron’s GoFundMe notes that the hairstylist “needs our help more than ever” to help with her “extensive medical bills, physical therapy, rent, and daily living expenses so she can focus entirely on healing without the added burden of financial stress.”
“Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to Jenn. Even just sharing this page helps immensely,” the website says. “Thank you so much for being part of her support system during this unimaginable time.
Later in the day on Sunday, Pietsch provided an update on Largron, sharing that she “just got out of surgery for her broken vertebrae and is feeling a bit better.”
“It was successful with no complications,” Pietsch said of the surgery. “The doctors weren’t able to fix her arm today, so she’ll be having another surgery tomorrow to address that. They’re keeping a close eye on her broken artery, but the good news is it looks like it’s starting to heal a little on its own. She is currently in the ICU where they can monitor her closely.”
As of Monday, April 28, Lagron’s GoFundMe has reached $43,622 of its $60,000 goal.
Aside from Juszczyk, Lagron has worked with other prominent Hollywood stars, including George Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, Chrissy Tiegan, Hayley Kiyoko and Ellie Goulding.
“I truly feel like I have the most incredible clients who make me strive to be my best, not only professionally but personally as well,” Lagron revealed in a January 2023 interview with The House magazine. “I am so beyond grateful for them, and they hold such a special place in my heart.”
