The 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards turned into a glam date night outing for Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane.
Las Vegas was the hottest place to be for country's biggest stars on Sunday, May 17, and the red carpet was all about glitz, glam and, for the Stapletons, showing up for each other.
While walking the carpet, which marked a fun outing for the longtime married couple and music collaborators, Chris showed his romantic affection towards his wife of nearly 20 years. In a video captured by PEOPLE, the "Tennessee Whisky" artist, 48, helped style Morgane's straight blonde hair as they posed for photos in their coordinating outfits.

The two wore monochromatic black ensembles. Chris (who has won more than 10 ACM Awards) rocked a classic suit accessorized with a tan hat that featured a turquoise embellishment. He is among those leading tonight's nominees with six nods including one in the coveted Entertainer of the Year category.
Morgane, a singer-songwriter herself and 43, glowed in a form-fitting dress with an open neckline, which she paired with drop earrings and a clutch.

Chris and Morgane tied the knot in October 2007.
In 2016, the country artist revealed to Rolling Stone that Morgane secretly engraved the words "You Are My Sunshine" inside his wedding band prior to the big day. They welcomed their first child, a son named Waylon, in 2009. A few years later, Morgane gave birth to their second child, a daughter named Ada. Their twin boys were born on April 15, 2018, and just seven months later, Chris revealed the news that they were expecting their fifth child during a Madison Square Garden performance in New York City.

More recently in April 2024, Morgane joined Chris for his musical guest appearance on Saturday Night Live. The couple performed "White Horse" for the audience — a song Chris wrote and Morgane produced.
