Today, while journeying through the bold and assertive sign of Aries, the moon will meet with Mars in Gemini and create in a harmonious sextile around 3 p.m. ET.

Aries is restless and impulsive, so we are collectively prone to impatience when the moon transits this Fire sign. Meanwhile, Mars in Gemini is no exception as it sets the stage for lively, intellectual and stimulating conversations, not to mention a very busy environment.

Nevertheless, together this allows for sharp, precise and bold conversations. There’s no time to waste, so we might as well speak up.

There’s also a subtle layer of mutual understanding, especially when considering the fact that Mars in Gemini is responding to Mercury in Cancer, a Water sign ruled by the moon.

Words are fueled by feelings right now, so harness this energy wisely. 

By approximately 11 p.m. ET, the moon enters the sensually driven sign of Taurus — where the moon exalts — helping the chatty and lively atmosphere settle into a more grounded state.

Your brain could be busy drafting responses, or plotting situations you shouldn’t be prioritizing, Taurus. By this evening, the insatiable urge to explain yourself starts to fizzle out. Sometimes less is more, so pleading the fifth might actually work in your favor.

Gemini (May 20-June 20)

To pass or to rally; that is the question, Gemini. A friend or group situation could pull you into a plan that sounds exciting but slightly over-the-top. Apparently, you’re the only one who seems to think it’s a bit much. Get clear on the details before agreeing to the fiasco. 

Cancer (June 21-July 21)

Keep a few cards up your sleeve, Cancer. You could be speaking up more at work, especially if someone underestimated your sense of authority or perhaps overlooked what you bring to the table. You have nothing to prove, but a lot to add to the situation.

Leo (July 22-Aug. 22)
