Dax Shepard is all about getting his haircuts from wife Kristen Bell — but not necessarily for her styling abilities.
The Armchair Expert host, 51, shared a lighthearted post on Instagram on Saturday, July 4, featuring Bell, 45, giving him a trim at home.
"My barber is below average, but I keep coming to her because she's so hot 🔥," Shepard joked in the caption.
The photo shows the shirtless actor glancing at the camera while Bell smiled as she cut his hair. The Nobody Wants This star kept things casual in a white tank top and large-framed glasses.
Fans quickly filled the comments with their own jokes about the couple's at-home salon setup.
"Spoken like my husband! I may not do the best job, but it's free and he likes me 🔥❤️,” one person wrote.
“Is there anything this woman can't do? You lucky guy!” someone else wrote.
The playful exchange is the latest glimpse into the couple's famously candid relationship.
Shepard and Bell, who began dating in 2007 and married in 2013, frequently share moments from their life together on social media and through Shepard's podcast.

Bell shared a tribute to Shepard in a March Instagram post in which she thanked him for being her partner in life.
“Never underestimate your tribe,” she wrote in the post, which featured behind-the-scenes photos from her 2026 Actor Awards hosting gig.
“The goals you've set, the dreams you're chasing — none of it happens in isolation. The people in your corner aren't a bonus. They're the foundation,” she continued.

“Thank you @daxshepard for being so continuously supportive and present. You have never not been there to help calm my nervous system when it's crunch time,” the actress added.
The pair have spoken openly about their relationship — as well as the fact that they work hard to maintain their connection — on numerous occasions over the years.

“We do couples therapy. We work it like a job,” Shepard told PEOPLE in 2017.
“Relationships aren't just perfect,” he added.
He went on to say that he and Bell, who share daughters Lincoln, 13, and Delta, 11, consider carving out dedicated time together a vital part of maintaining their connection.

“You do have to take it as seriously as you take your work commitments. It has to be scheduled, and you have to prioritize it or it doesn't happen,” he said.
While speaking to E! News in 2025, Bell shared that she and Shepard have a strong “foundational trust” — something she said is vital for their work as actors.
“Even if Dax hooks up with the most beautiful person in the world at work, I know he's committed to our family," she explained. "I know he's coming home. I know he loves our children. I know he strives to be a great husband and father.”
Bell also spoke of the importance of prioritizing communication in their relationship — especially during moments of fear or insecurity.
"Maybe there could be a day where I'm like, 'I'm actually really nervous that you spend time with that person.' And he could say, 'Oh, okay, let's talk about it. What makes you nervous? What are you thinking?' We have very open communication," she said.
